This corner unit in the ResortQuest (formerly Aston) Pacific Monarch Hotel is on the 20th floor. The views are great and the location of the hotel is in the heart of Waikiki. From the entrance of the hotel it is 500 feet to the sand of Waikiki Beach. My 80-year-old mother walks it in less than five minutes. The condominium is for my parents who visit each year but I rent it out the other months. I hope you enjoy your stay if you choose their vacation condominium, but please respect their home-away-from-home.
There are many restaurants in the area and the hotel is close to nightlife spots and shopping. The hotel has a party room on the top floor with views in all directions. The roof-top pool and hot tub also have great views. The common areas of the hotel are neat and clean. You have access to all the amenities of the hotel, but I check you into the room.
Parking is $12 extra/day for all guests of the hotel. The Pacific Monarch is a three-star hotel and not right on the beach. There are more luxurious places to stay but A LOT more expensive. There are cheaper places, too, but why not have an affordable ocean view in a good location?
