Resort Details: Nestled between the mountains and the sea, this spacious three
bedroom, three bath unit is available on the famous North Shore, with access to
a private owner’s swimming pool and cabana pavilion with barbeque. Exquisite
tropical landscaping adds the final touch to this fantastic vacation spot.
Mauna Kai is a small development that is centrally located in Princeville on the
spectacular North Shore of Kauai. This unique 46 unit is surrounded in tropical
vegetation and peaceful landscaping, and is really a collection of individually
designed free standing townhomes available for nightly and weekly rentals.
This unit is one of the largest condos on Kauai and will remind you of staying
in a modern day tropical tree house. It is a 2 story condo with 2500+ square
feet and sleeps 10 comfortably, with 3 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms, and additional
sleeping with the living room Queen pull out sofa and a Twin roll away bed. It
has a master bedroom suite on the first floor with own bathroom. Also on the
first floor is a guest bedroom with 2 full beds, and its own full bathroom. Upstairs
is a second living room space with a second master bedroom suite, including a
queen bed and its own bath. The living room is extremely large (30 ft by 20 ft)
with soaring 15+ ft open beam ceilings with sky lights, tropical blade ceiling fans,
and serves as a perfect gathering spot for the whole family. There is a lanai deck
that also serves as a wonderful outdoor dining place.
The location is within walking distance of the Princeville Shopping Center and
also Anini Beach by way of a 10 minute hiking trail. The Princeville St. Regis
and Westin Hotels are within easy walking distance, and offer several restaurant
choices. The property is located on the Makai Golf Course, and just around the
corner from the both the Prince and the Princeville Golf Courses. The mountain
and golf course views, tropical setting, private pool and quiet complex offer just
the rest and relaxation you need. Hanalei Bay is a 5 minute drive and offers
close proximity to several of the world’s finest beaches.

Terrific home away from home. Very spacious. great views!Extremely relaxing. Walked to shopping and hotels. Breathtaking sun rises and sun sets. The beaches are clean . Many times we felt that it was our own private beach. Try eating out at Postcards in Hanalei. We never wanted to leave this paradise. The owner of the beautiful condo did many upgrades.It is definitely our home away from home.

After much research, I reserved this wonderful condo for a 4-generation (5 adults, 5 children) for a July 19-26, 2010 stay, to attend a family wedding. This is a HUGE condo, well furnished, spacious, quiet, and the condo grounds well landscaped for beauty and shade. We mainlanders loved our first visit to Kauai, and this haven had a lot to do with it. The owner was very gracious and prompt in answering all my initial questions, and Linda and George in the local VRBO office were very attentive, extremely informative and kind. You will love staying here!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had the time of our lives, didn't want to leave. Strategically located to enjoy the North shore. Very comfortable and spacious. We will bring our family next time, plenty of room. Comfortable bed in Masterbedroom.
