This single-level home has been expertly decorated for your comfort and convenience, including wireless internet access! Plantation shutters throughout provide solitude or open for breathtaking views. Everything exudes a contemporary desert elegance.
The 2 master suite sized bedrooms are appointed with 320 thread count sheets, all to make your stay comfortable and luxurious. Each spacious bedroom boasts its own cable T.V. for your viewing pleasure and adjoining double sink bathrooms for your convenience. The first suite has a king-size bed with large windows to enjoy views of the golf course. The second suite is furnished with an ample queen bed with windows opening to the sunny courtyard.
We have looked to every detail so you will find this to be your luxury home away from home. The kitchen is a well-equipped gourmet's delight with full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffee maker and grinder. For your first morning, we offer Starbucks Coffee to enjoy at the breakfast bar or out on the inviting patio.
The outdoor patio is a living space unto itself! Contemporary patio furnishings include a 60' patio table and 4 chairs and 2 chaise lounges. Enjoy cool refreshments while taking in the green 8th fairway with lakes and fountains beyond. Relax with your favorite book or magazine, challenge your partner to a game of Gin Rummy or dine al fresco. Steps away is a refreshing pool and relaxing bubbly spa for your enjoyment.
While it will be hard to leave this retreat, other amenities await you. The Lakes Country Club offers a fully staffed 45,000 square foot clubhouse featuring a grill room, elegant main dining room, lounge and pro-shop. Brush up on your tennis game at one of 15 championship tennis courts (2 are clay courts) or keep in shape at the state-of-the-art Fitness Center. Relieve the stress of the day with a massage or facial in the Spa facility. All this located within our 24-hour security guarded complex. As for golfing, there are numerous world-class courses all within just minutes of this convenient location. The hard part is deciding which one to play.

What a perfect loction for a week retreat to the desert. The location on the golf course was relaxing and condo was so comfortable for 4 friends to enjoy golf, shopping and the great weather. Working with Kelly was a pleasure and I will be passing the information on to friends and family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We spent a week at The Lakes and really loved it. The property has a very central location surrounded by fun things like countless golf courses and Mortons Steak House and by necessities like Ralphs grocery store. The condominium is very nicely furnished and has a well-appointed kitchen. It was all very comfortable and pleasant, and we'll definitely short-list it if we return to the desert. And the weather was so perfect, such a nice change from the Boston winter.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our firstl desert visit at the hottest time of the year, late August, and Kelly your lovely condo had a lot to do with our happy get away being so perfect. Your condo had all that we could possibly have needed for a stay of several weeks let alone the few days we were able to get away. The Lakes is an ideal spot for families and/of couples. Nice to have met Shawn...a bonus for us. See you again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children.

My wife and I enjoyed our second stay in 2011 at the Lakes Country Club. Kelly has done a wonderful job in making her "rental" feel more like our own home. She and her husband have thought of all the details that make traveling difficult. Well equipped kitchen; bathroom; bedrooms; outdoor furniture; pool towels etc. Arriving late at night and traveling from the east coast, we were excited to know we did not have to run to the store to purchase soap, coffee and the other small things we all tend to forget when we travel. Everything we needed was at their home which made for a welcome change. They have wonderful indoor and outdoor furniture and a very clean home.....how nice to find this gem in the desert. We look forward to coming back to this property. If you are looking for a relaxing rental with high-end furnishings at price tag that will not shock you.....this rental in the Lakes Country Club is a must.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Two couples have just spent a week in this wonderful retreat! We couldn't have asked for more. Owner Kelly Murphy was very attentive, helpful, and most welcoming. The unit is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything! Kelly provided extensive information on what to do in the area...complete with maps and brochures. The Lakes complex is landscaped beautifully. The view of the golf course from the condo is great and the property is a wonderful place for walking while enjoying the scenery. We enjoyed the spa services and had a delicious dinner in the lovely dining room at the Club House. The location in Palm Desert provides easy access to the entire area. We hope to return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

We stayed at this beautiful home for a week and are thrilled to return in March. The decor is lovely and after staying 15 years in different rental units this is a cut above. The owner was professional, timely, and friendly and the condo was shinning. I would recommend this to all. Thanks to the owners: I have special needs such as oxygen and they made this work. This property is as described and more. The Lakes is a wonderful country club with plenty of golf, tennis and a great fitness room. The Retreat is spacious and well decorated. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. We were not sure we'd like the desert but we would come back here again and recommend it highly.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

About the owner: The clear, crisp desert landscape is exhilarating. We grew up coming here with our family for years and finally purchased a home of our own. We're the 3rd generation to find this desert enchanting and stress relieving. We know you will too!
