This fabulous, newly-renovated home is near everything, yet tucked away on a quiet private 1.6 acre lot well off the road. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind with easy access to all historic Orleans offers, yet just a five minute drive to Nauset Beach (2.66 Miles) on the Atlantic for big surf and off-roading. Five minutes in the opposite direction brings you to Skaket Beach (1.75 miles)on Cape Cod Bay. The Town Cove is .33 miles and Pilgrim Lake (fresh water swimming) is only 1.25 miles away. The deep sea fishing fleet at Rock Harbor is 1.6 miles.
Skaket's calm (bay) waters are perfect for small children to romp and wade or hunt for tiny sea creatures. If salt water is not your pleasure, or to wash the salt off, there are two fresh water lake beaches as well - Pilgrim Lake and Crystal Lake - in Orleans. You will be within short walking distance of 'Orleans Firebirds' (formerly 'Cardinals') summer college baseball all-stars ball games, village shops, public tennis courts and children's park, restaurants, craft fairs and ice cream!

This house is so beautiful and just charming. Very clean and great comfortable beds. This is our fourth year staying around Labor Day, usually with three or four couples. The location is great close to beaches, great restaurants and shopping. The views from the deck are great, beautiful birds. The weather is absolutely perfect and wish we could stay longer. You wouldn't be disappointed staying at this lovely home. Myrna (From Connecticut) P.S. This was our 2nd year returning to Jim & Colleen's home with our children and friends. The house is in a central location to Skaket and Nauset Beach, and a short and pleasant drive to Chatham. We enjoyed being so close to the Orleans Firebirds baseball field. The hot tub is a nice amenity. House is stocked with loads of movies and books, and kitchen/laundry room is stocked with necessary items as well. We look forward to returning for a 3rd summer next year and wish we could stay longer!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

After renting many homes in the cape we found this house perfect! The home is well equipped, clean and a perfect location to both Skaket and Nauset Beach. It is centrally located and within walking distance to the Firebirds games. The grounds are well landscaped, a beautiful deck and an immaculate jacuzzi that we all enjoyed. When advertised fully stocked, IT WAS!! Jim is a great guy, very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family has rented a house in Orleans for the past three summers and this house was by far the best. Everything is modern and well kept. The master bedroom and bathroom are exceptional!. We really enjoyed the deck and back yard. We would sit on the deck and enjoy the view and hot tub. We had nightly badminton tournaments with the kids (plenty of games/activities found in the garage). We also walked a very short distance to the baseball game to watch the famous Cape Code Baseball games. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We have been vacationing on Cape Cod for over 10 years and we have finally found the perfect house for our family of 6. We love the location (a block away from the Cape League baseball team, playground, tennis courts and soccer fields, a short walk to the public library, and an easy stroll into downtown for shopping or coffee or restaurants). We can hop on the Cape Cod Rail Trail from the path downtown and ride for miles north or south. We love the comfy furniture, the hot tub off the master suite, the very comfortable master bedroom and more than enough soft blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well-stocked with anything a cook needs and the grill on the deck off the kitchen is large and well cared for. We have returned several years now and are always extremely satistifed with our time at the house and relaxation in the beautiful side and back yards.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Jim and Colleen have a beautiful home on a private lot that is centrally located to nearby Skaket and Nauset Beaches as well as a short drive to Chatham. They provide tenants with information on local restaurants and attractions, which is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay in their home and in the Cape and hope to return again. This house is amazing! Everything we could ask for and more. I spent a week with two other couples and we had an amazing time. This is the type of rental made for vacationing on the Cape. All you need to worry about bringing is yourself and your clothes. They have everything you need to enjoy your stay, from everything you need to have fun at the beach to all the essentials to cook a gourmet meal in their amazing kitchen. This house is definetly on our list for future stays. The location is secluded, set back off the main road, yet right in the middle of all the action, minutes from the beach and an easy ride to all the best the Cape has to offer. The hot tub was also a huge plus. The owners were great as well, vey easy to work with and happy to keep an open diologue before, durning and after our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We were so happy with our stay at this beautiful home in Orleans. The location is perfect...quiet and private but close to everything. All of our grown children had their own bedrooms and we all were able to enjoy family meals on the deck after trips to Nauset Beach and Skaket Beach. I loved Pilgrim Lake for doing my swim laps. We would love to come back again - we had a great family vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family returned to this house for our second time this past summer and had another spectacular time. The house is comfortable (cozy couches, a/c in living room and all bedrooms, good mattresses for kids and great one for master king bed). The deck overlooks a gorgeous backyard with plenty of space to set up the badmitton set or croquet. We love how close the house is to baseball games (you can walk to the field in two minutes) and how we can walk or ride our bikes to the local grocer and library. We bring our bikes and ride from the house, through downtown Orleans, and get on the bike trail easily. This house has everything to make your getaway relaxing and convenient. We also loved the hot tub just outside the master bedroom. We have been vacationing on Cape Cope with our four children for ten years and have found this to be our favorite rental house yet! Thanks to Jim and Colleen for opening their wonderful home to us again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Summer vacation has been Cape Cod for our family for over thirty years. We looked casually for a vacation home for that period of time. When we looked at this home - it was perfect!!! My wife and I, with much different tastes, agreed that it was 'love at first sight'. Our now grown children, and their four kids, all agree. We made it a reality and hope that you will choose to share it with us.

This property is very special in its seculsion. It borders on a wetlands. Nature is unbeliveable. You will greatly enjoy bird watching and the meticulously manacured grounds. It is very hard to find such a wonderful vaction experience - and never at this price.
