Charming, two-level, 1850's Cottage on Marblehead Harbor. The Cottage features a rear terrace overlooking the harbor and a front terrace overlooking a private garden.
The lower level has a large bedroom (queen-size bed) and bath with shower. There is a sitting area with a view out to the harbor.
The upper level is airy and open with a small kitchen, dining area and living area with french doors leading out to the terrace. Weekly linen service.
The Cottage was previously featured in Coastal Living Magazine ("Jeannette has created a first-class guest house").
A second property, the Harborview Apartment of the adjacent Hollyhock House, also featured in Coastal Living Magazine, is currently rented on a full- time basis.
The Cottage is located in the heart of Old Town, Marblehead, with all of its shops, restaurants and historic attractions within walking distance. Boston is about 13 miles away and can be reached by car, train, or bus.
The historic port of Salem with its' many attractions, including the expanded Peabody Museum, is adjacent to Marblehead. Gloucester is about a 30 minute ride away . A large number of very good public golf courses are located within a short drive. An on-site golfing concierge is available.
