Whether you are a Marine recruit's family or just wanting to visit Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea, "Ooh-Rah" House is here for you and your family. Three and a half miles from the Parris Island Gate and 15 minutes from downtown Beaufort, we are centrally located to suit your needs. The Duplex is newly furnished to offer you rest and relaxation after a long trip (and a yummy homemade dessert will greet you when you get there)!!
Ooh-Rah House is a duplex that sleeps eight. Side A and side B are rented as one unit, however, there is a lockable "pass through" door inside the duplex. It has been recently remodeled with new windows, doors, carpet, furniture and appliances!
The two queen-size beds (on each side) have wonderful new deep pillow top mattresses, large sofas, love seats and recliners; all the comforts of home, including kitchen utensils, fresh linens, two DVD/Cable TVs, washer/dryer, hair dryers, and all paper products provided.
For Recruit families, you will be very close to your graduate ... Take a right hand turn out of the driveway, go to the stop sign and take a left. You will be on Highway 280, Parris Island Gateway!!
A short ride for Family Day, allowing you to come back to the Duplex after the Moto Run, cook your son/daughters' favorite dish and be back on Parris Island in time for the pinning ceremony with the remainder of the day left to spend with your new Marine.
No hurry to pack up Graduation morning, return after graduation with your Marine to organize the car and allow your Marine to stretch out for a bit! |
