This is our second time to stay at this condo and we loved it even more the second time around. The property is amazing!!! The location is unbelievable, comfortable, safe, friendly, fun, upscale, beautiful and clean beaches. The condo is relaxing and nicely decorated. It has such a fresh and airy feeling to it that welcomes you the minute you walk in. Very clean. The bed is so comfortable. We used the sofa sleeper which also provided a good night sleep. For a studio condo it offered ample space for all of us; very roomy. The windows provide a nice view and It was great to look out on July 4 and watch the fire works over the ocean. There was plenty of area for eating at the table for 4 and we had everything we needed in the kitchenette for our meals. We took a cooler for our drinks and used the mini fridge for everything else. We prepared breakfast and lunches each day in the condo and went out to dinner at a different restaurant each night. We spent plenty of time at the beach enjoying the crystal clear waters on Yellow Flag days; On Red Flag days we opted for the pools. The lagoon pool is amazing, but it was so convenient to have the smaller pool right outside the door of our building. The fountains out front also provided plenty of entertainment for the little one. We had so much fun renting bikes and letting the kids ride everywhere. It was a treat to be able to walk to dinner each night and enjoy and icecream cone afterwards. The location and setting of your condo is perfect. We're already planning our next trip. Thanks again for another great vacation!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Kristynn, So glad your family opted to stay in my condo again. It's important to me that my guests feel like they are in a well-loved "home" of their own while they are enjoying the Emerald Coast. See you again next year. Nancy

My girlfriends and I just spent a week in this beautiful condo and it far exceeded our expectations! The condo came with everything we needed and was relaxing, clean and had adorable decorations. The WIFI worked well. Both beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen is complete with all the amenities included in the list. The condo is in a quaint, family-friendly town and the property was very well kept and beautiful. We felt so safe during the day and at night. The large pool is close to the condo and is gorgeous, and the beach is just a quick couple minute walk. The whole area has cute little shops, nice restaurants in walking distance, and a peaceful atmosphere. We were so impressed with our entire vacation. I will definitely be coming back in the future, and will recommend this condo and town to everyone. Staying at Beach Combin' was the best decision we made our whole trip!Owner response: Hi Ellie, Thank you for the very nice review. And, your descriptions are so accurate, even down to the beach, pool and restaurant guidance. And, I'm glad the condo's amenities met all your needs and expectations. That's important. It sounds like you and your girlfriends got to experience 30A as I do --- that "Andy of Mayberry," "everything is wonderful" kind of being. Come back anytime. We would love to host you again at Beach Combin'....:) Nancy

This place is in a prime spot to go to the beach or to head to the pool. The beach can be accessed by a golf cart, which makes a run every half hour. The large lagoon pool is awesome and within walking distance. The lap pool is right outside - nobody does laps. People just swim and have fun in it. A short walk lands you in a nice area to shop and dine. Bikes can be rented downstairs. There is also a small convenience store and restaurants, shops, etc. downstairs. The pictured fountains in the common area are no longer operating - our daughter looked forward to it, but was disappointed. The unit is cozy and well appointed. The sofa bed is not for those with sensitive backs, as it is a bit lumpy. Like all condos, be prepared to deal with noisy neighbors - we heard music all day from the yogurt shop directly below us, as well as heavy footsteps from the tenants above us. It is a studio, but not terribly small. Only one of the windows open - the others are broken. The A/C unit is very noisy, making odd noises throughout the night that make it hard to sleep. Still, this place offers a lot of bang for the buck, when considering that you will pay a higher price for a comparable unit.Owner response: Thanks so much for the review. You've done a nice job of pinpointing what is great about 30A and the central and convenient location of my condo. And I do try to offer an exceptional value for my guests, so thank you for mentioning that. One fact that might be helpful to understand --- Because the sea air is notorious for causing rust and wear on inside fixtures, most beach owners never open their windows, which is why the windows in the Villages were not designed to be opened on an ongoing basis. There should have been small window signs asking that the windows not be opened for that reason. The last time I stayed in my unit, I didn't hear the yogurt shop music and made a point of thanking the owner for that. Possibly, he has increased the volume, so thank you very much for letting me know. The owner is very nice and amenable, so I'm certain he'll scale back on the volume, if asked. I hope you'll stay with us again the next time you're on wonderful 30A!

My boyfriend, Max, is in medical school at the Univ. of Alabama in Birmingham and I work full time in Atlanta. With our hectic schedules and the distance between us, a vacation is just what we needed!! We were so excited to discover this place online and so happy the it turned out to be as good as we had imagined! Bike rides, seafood dinners, beach walks, music in the Square and margaritas were perfect! We enjoyed the beautiful weather and great vacation! We were very pleased with this condo. Very clean. Loved the shops and short walks to the shops. Beach was a little walk, but not too bad. Tram is very nice.Owner response: Hi William, So nice to get your note. It's important to hear from guests, so that we can continue to provide the amenities that are most helpful. Glad you noted the tram, which runs every 20 minutes during the season. Even for those who enjoy the brief stroll to the beach, sometimes it's just handy to have a quick tram ride to the beach or the giant pool if you're carrying a lot of stuff. And, the shops are so handy and seem to provide anything needed just downstairs. Very convenient, as you've noted. We'll look forward to hosting you again any time. Best, Nancy

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying in this studio. I'm a tough sell but was very pleased with the accommodations, location and ease of the stay. I don't think more than 2 people could stay comfortably but the studio makes great use of the small space. The studio has a amazing location, loved the shops downstairs and in the neighboring resort. We also enjoyed a quick drive to seaside for shopping and cocktails. The beach and large pool are a good way when carrying chairs, coolers, beach bag ect the tram is key for long beach days. The tram to the beach was a great and friendly bonus, I fact each employee we met was extremely nice. The properties along 30-A are lined in sidewalks which makes for a great place to burn some of those creole inspired seafood dishes off. The studio is not luxurious but is clean, cute and perfectly located, a true perfect getaway. We hope to return this spring and would be happy to stay again :)Owner response: Mary, Thanks so much for the delightful review from a tough critic. In a nutshell, you captured the essence of my condo and the experience of being on Scenic 30A. It's hard to describe the "specialness" of the area to those who have never been.......or who have only experienced the nearby Destin or Panama City Beach areas. While those are nice, 30A is indeed special and a cut above any beach community I've ever experienced. Welcome back any time. Nancy

The property was as described and listed, I was very concerned about the amount of space, however it was ample. The property was clean for the most part. There was pet hair on the chairs and bed sheet and blanket; the main cover on the bed had some stains. I would and have recommend this property to family; the activities and attractions were ample. The area has a very relaxing atmosphere.Owner response: Hi Dee, Thank you for the review. I welcome and always pay attention to all my reviews, which are overwhelmingly positive. Based on your recommendation, I'm asking my cleaning staff to pay extra special attention ongoing. I feel they do an excellent job, but we can always improve. Also, I agree the property is in an excellent location, and there is a lot to do in the area, particularly for couples and families. It's also an excellent place for a single person to "get away from it all," as you've noted. Thanks again for taking the time to review, Nancy

About the owner: I'm a 'Southern Girl, born in East Tennessee and then migrated to Dallas, where I was part of a global corporation for the majority of my career. Recently, I've migrated to the consulting world, where I can use my years of communications experience to help other organizations. When I 'get away,' I've always preferred the Beaches of South Walton in the Panhandle. The stress just melts away. As you will see, I've created a relaxing experience inside my condo with the hope that your cares will evaporate during your time 'at the beach' also.
Why the Owner Chose Village of South Walton:
In traveling the world, I can find no more gorgeous beaches than on the unique 17-mile stretch of Scenic 30A in the Panhandle's South Walton County. So, when I had a choice of where to spend beach time with friends and family, Seacrest Beach along Scenic 30A was the easy choice. This unique area of the U.S. can best be described as 'Laid-back, upscale Florida living meets 'Andy of Mayberry.''
Because I love the area so much....and want others to also....you will find that I will be very helpful and personally 'hands on' to answer questions, provide information and ensure your experience in the South Walton County beach area is as perfect as possible.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
Convenient and secure WIFI in the condo + LOADS of books stashed in all corners. Extra-comfy, high-quality bed. Upscale, but fun and whimsical beach decor specially selected to ensure a relaxing experience for guests. The beach and giant pool are just a 3-5 minute walk,... PLUS, there is a Free tram exclusively for this property...runs every 20 minutes in season...especially helpful for guests carrying lots of beach or pool 'stuff.'
