The condo was perfect, walking out the lanaii to pool and ocean. Saw whales right from our own front door almost every day. Tiger cat, resident cat was a nice addition. Natives people went out of their way to make us welcome. Beach Bums we highly recommend for food and friendship. All in all the stay could not have been better. We shall return. Mahalo White family, Aloha! :) Rosemary in the rental off went out of her way for us, more than once, greatly apreciated! :)

Two weeks in Maui!

We, four adults, stayed in this condo (#82118) for two weeks during July of 2010. The unit is very well furnished and comfortable and well maintained. The grounds and pool area are also well maintained. The location is wonderful being close to Maalaea harbour and fairly central to the NW shore as well as Kehi and Kahului. We found the area to have sunshine almost all of the time and the trade winds allowed us to remain comfortable without having to use air conditioning. The ground floor location made access simple and easy. We would recommend this unit to any visitors to the island.

We stayed for a month and really got the feel for the Maalaea area as well all over the rest of Maui. The central location is a huge plus. To get anywhere else is easy. Particularly enjoyable was the lanai for the warm days and evenings and the close proximity to the pool. This complex is very quiet and every person we met was friendly. The view of the bay is unimpeded and incredibly beautiful. The water can be heard lapping the shore and is very soothing. We saw whales cavorting and enjoyed the slapping. Turtles were close just outside the reef. This unit is so well equipped our every need was satisfied. The beauty and comfort are here and the owners pride is evident. Would we ever come back here? Aloha from Calgary, Alberta & Yorkton, Saskatchwan. Thank-you for the wonderful, comfortable stay. We all enjoyed the view right outside our door. Many drinks and cards played late into the night. We had many visits with the local cat who loved to hang with us at the poolside. The memories from Maui will be unforgetable, everthing from the whales, snorkeling with the turtles and dining at Mama's Fish House....not to mention the scenic drive to Hana we survived! You did not miss a thing; the Ghost and Gobblins at Lahaina, the road trip around the west side, the small trip to IOA valley, the shopping (what little we did), laying out by the pool (Ha! Ha!) Many, many thanks for sharing your island retreat with us. We covered a lot of ground (and some water) while we were on Maui but maybe the best part of our week were quiet, lazy mornings looking out to sea, hearing the surf, chatter of birds and clatter of palm fronds. A couple of little birds really entertained when they found a drippy outdoor shower head and used it as a water feeder! P.S. Loved how well-stocked your kitchen is!

We were here for our daughters wedding (what a wedding)! We thought the whole setting here at Lauloa was wonderful. I didn't really realize that our room was right at the pool. What a bonus. Our stay here at Lauloa was wonderful! The view was spectacular and the condo was very clean and comfortable. The whales were a special bonus. We took the other bedroom and love the walk-in shower. Your condo is very comfortable with all the amenities of home. The "Road to hana" is a great road trip ifyou enjoy pictures of ocean and foliage and bridges covered in moss. You can make as many stops as you like ~ or not. And DO NOT MISS IOA valley. Thank you for the use of your great condo with the perfect view. We'll keep this at the top of our list for Maui get-aways. My daughter works for the airlines and she will probably be a future visitor as well as co-workers! TIPS: Great prime rib at "Moose McGillacuddys" ~ $12.99 also the sunset cruise here at this harbor on "Pride of Maui" was very very good. Claims to be PuPus and cocktails but food was more like a dinner - excellent! We even saw dolphins ~ it was so fun, abou $50 a person. Aloha car rental has great prices ~ Thanks again! Clyde and Pat

We had a wonderful time here at Maalaea. The condo was great. We were not sure we would like the condo living for sure but to our surprise we loved the slower, uncrowded, laid back atmosphere. We are converted vacationers! The view was beatimous, we loved having the tradewinds and the central location. Had a really fun time on the Pride of Maui right at the harbor on the 5-hr snorkeling trip! The aquarium up the street also a good time. The view in the a.m. with coffee ~ unbeatable! ~ Mahalo, Ron, Karen, and Shannon

Outstanding views of the bay. Lovely pool and yard. Master suite was lovely. Turtle tile in bath was a nice touch. Clean and roomy. Couldn't ask for a nicer location. Highly recommend. Would definitely return.

We stayed here March 12-18, it is more beautiful in person. The snorkleing just past the break was outstanding. We saw Momma whales and babies every morning and evening. The only bad thing was that we didn't book it for 2 weeks. It was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Thanks for a memorable 25th Anniversary!
