  Our week on Bald Head was a wonderful way to end our summer. We loved the view and we had a great time having our meals right there on the porch overlooking the water. The kids loved the dock and the pool and your property was so convenient to everything on the island. It was great that we were able to bring the dog as well- She loved it. Thank you for your hospitality. We are looking forward to our return visit.

  We come to BHI every year. Some say "why leave Florida for North Carolina". Well, they have not been to Bald Head. We spent our 2 weeks fishing at the point, watching turtle hatchlings , running to the club and enjoying the peace and quiet of this home. See you next year

  I took my parents, husband, sis and her husband, and my dog to Timbercreek 1-B for 2 weeks this past September, after 2 weeks last September at the same condo. The owner was a delight to deal with and everything was as advertised. Bald Head Island is a magical place--driving around in the golf carts at dusk to look for wildlife in the forest and watch the stars come out along the beach road and look for the alligator in the pond was a daily must for all of us. The condo was very nice--comfy beds! And well-maintained. The view from the condo is stunning, an ever-changing drama of light, tide, birds, boats, kayaks, and clouds--we all loved the screen porch. I painted several views from the dock which ended just under the screen porch and also of the Lighthouse, Old Baldy. The island is absolutely friendly to artists. It is also a photographer's paradise. When you are driving the golf cart, even going for groceries or dropping off recycles is fun. We also loved biking to the store each day for a newspaper--take your bikes! The island is simply gorgeous with beaches on 3 sides and a marsh/creek on the other. It is very quiet and we were not terribly impressed by the restaurants, but enjoyed grilling and cooking at the condo, so that was great. We saw baby turtles in a nest excavation organized by the on-island Conservancy. Definitely climb the lighthouse! The kayaking was absolutely perfect both years. There are lovely trails to hike. The condo was very well located--so close to everything. September was quiet in terms of not crowded, but warm enough to be outside all day. A trip to the island will definitely lower your blood pressure.

  We had such a nice time at Timbercreek 1-B! The condo was very well maintained, had everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable and the views were amazing! Bald Head Island was a great place to spend a relaxing week. We also loved the membership to the BHI Club and our son especially enjoyed the pool. We will be back!

  This townhome is fabulous! It truly lived up the the 'Million Dollar Views' billing. The owner was very helpful in advance of our stay - giving suggestions and tips to assure we had a great experience. The place is comfortable, decorated so cute and in a convenient, but also private setting. It was a pleasure to sit on the screened porch both in the morning and evening and enjoy the view. We have rented from other VRBO owners literally all over the world and I have to say that this is one of the best provisioned we've experienced. You really felt 'at home'. The dock located only steps away and the community pool are a wonderful bonus.Our dog loved the area too. Great places to walk w/ your pet and run on the beach. Prior to going, we'd planned on going out a few nights - but once we arrived opted to enjoy this home - cooking, having drinks on the porch and just totally relaxing. We're in the process of trying to pull together a fall trip to come back and stay here again. I highly recommend this townhome and would be happy to answer any specifics if you have additional question. You will be happy you chose this home on this island for your vacation!   First...Bald Head Island is an absolutely wonderful place. It was sooo much more than we had expected. Our stay in the "Million $ View" was fantastic. The location is convenient to everything on the island. It was very clean and well maintained. It was actually much more roomy than we expected. There were 4 of us, me, my husband, our 11 year old and his friend. The boys loved the fishing dock for Timber Creek and very much enjoyed catching crabs right there. The bed rooms are spacious and the showers are wonderful after a sunny, sandy day at the beach. We ate most meals at the condo and found everything we needed to prepare fantastic meals. I loved the screened in deck and the view. Having the 2 golf carts was very helpful too, as the boys and I are much more beach bums than dad. So, he would go and leave when he had had enough. We will go back again and this is where we will stay. This is the first vacation I have EVER returned from not feeling exhausted and in need of a vacation. Everyone was happy! I highly recommend this condo and Bald Head Island!! Sonia
