Thank you for this coming to Barcelona and feeling ... more than home really! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope having done everything right, certainly this town and your highflyer view is VERY difficult to match! Just a brief note to let you know that we had a very enjoyable holiday in your apartment in Barcelona. Your apartment was extremely comfortable and the view over Barcelona was fantastic. The weather was also great (28-30 degrees), which was just perfect both for going on the beach and exploring the streets of Barcelona. The owner has asked that I revise my review because of several " inaccuracies and misunderstandings." Quiet, near beaches and a large mall with great grocery store. Easy public transportaion to points of interest. Furnishings are average, all beds are futon type, typically found in Spain. From owner- "none of the beda are futons as described. In fact they are the most expensive bed available at Corte Ingles (Cost €850 euros per single unit!). They are self moulding mattresses. In the master bedroom the beds are also electric to allow users individual postures and heights." They were comfortable, but Americans don't be surprised when they look like futons - single mattress on wood slats. Kitchen had everything needed to cook (low end pans but adequate for those who love to cook) including oil and spices and french press coffee maker. Bought large pot to boil pasta / make fabada (soup) and matches to light stove (both lighters in drawer were empty). Dryer did not work. No soap gel for showers but there were ceramic hand soap dispensers on the counter with soap. Plenty of hot water. There was a note when we arrived on Saturday that heat/airconditioner were not working but would be repaired on Tuesday - repairmen showed up on Thursday without forewarning. No emails or contact from anyone concerning this issue. The weather was moderate so we did not suffer. Balconey chairs in picture are not the same and are not comfortable to sit in for any length. We are still awaiting our deposit due to "change in electronic banking system from code cards to new code handheld machines. This took over 3 weeks to get from the bank" and owner going into hosiptal. All in all, we had a good stay and just point out the minor negatives so you know what you are getting for the price you pay to rent this apartment.

Owner response:We regret that this guest has been inconvenienced. Several mishaps unfortunately including change in banking security systems and owners indisposition. Deposit was returned in full. Just a quick e-mail to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent stay in your amazing apartment. We had a wonderful time exploring Barcelona and found the location ideal for our needs allowing us to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still be only a short metro ride away. If anything the apartment was too nice making it difficult at times to motivate ourselves enough to get out and explore. I initially thought 10 days would be too long in Barcelona but the time flew by and I could easliy have spent a lot longer enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. Once again many thanks for allowing us to stay in your home and I am sure we will return again at a future date.

My family and I spent a wonderful week in Barcelona. The accommodations were more than adequate and the location as good as could be expected. We got there on Sunday the 16th and were in awe when we saw the place. The view is second to none and the layout was perfect for the six of us. We borrowed a few books and replaced them with a few more.

What a great place to stay in Barcelona. Three couples for 3 nights before a cruise in November. We all just loved this apartment. Great location, wonderful views, very comfortable beds. When we go back to Barcelona this apartment will be first on our list of places to stay!
