Only eight miles from world-class skiing at Snow Basin, home of the 2002 Olympic Downhill and Super G events, it also has the distinct advantage of being remarkably easy access to Salt Lake City, and the restaurants, and shopping in Ogden just ten minutes away. An easy 35 mile drive from Salt Lake International Airport and only 15 miles from Ogden-Hinckley Airport. If you're arriving by private plane, we will make arrangements for you in the state-of-the-art aircraft facility, Kemp Jet Services. From the smallest of private planes to large Gulfstream size jets, you will find no better facility in the west.
Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley ski resorts are considered to be among the best local mountain resorts in the country. You won't feel so close to all these amenities when you drive up to this private, hilltop retreat surrounded by mature pines and the most breath-taking views of any vacation rental on the market.
Summer is a great time to visit. Pine View Reservoir (nine miles) is perfect for fishing, boating and waterskiing. World class fly fishing is a constant on the Ogden and Weber Rivers. Mountain bike enthusiasts will go crazy on the abundance of trails around Snow Basin. There are often moose on our property, among other wild life which is abundant along the Wasatch Front.
