  hi we just come back from the holiday in malta and realy enjoyed villa sunnyside and carville also.it was very nice and clean through out the stay.There was realy nice game room for the kids so they were playing there all day long the villa is realy great for the familys with the kids. would recomend to every one whos looking for nice place to stay with family or friends i malta.The property is exactly as described and location is good too.The owners of the property are realy friendly and helpfull i will recomend to every one.Big thank you from us to David and Jane. 10/10

  Myself and my party were very pleased with our stay in the villa. It is suitable for people of all ages. It caters for families and in my groups chase saucapots. It was very enjoyable I would have no hesitation in returning. Paceville is only a ten minute walk from the villa and this is where all the restaurants, bars are nightclubs are located. The facilities in the villa are fabulous eg. swimming pool, pool table, ping pong table etc.

  Gorgeous villa. Just as described and pictured. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had a few tiny things we were unsure about Eg: missing key and cupboard not opening but I emailed the owner and it was all fixed within a few hours - amazing service. Its about a 20 minute walk down into town but there's a supermarket closer and we just got minibus to town/villa when we couldn't be bothered walking. We had friends staying in different hotels and villas in the St Jullian's area and we were so glad we chose this villa for price, comfort, facilities and style. Had an amazing week lots of eating, drinking and socializing around the pool or in the courtyard. The BBQ was used a lot which was great as eating out was a bit pricey. Would defiantly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to stay in st Julian's/St George's or Paceville.

  We arrived very late evening due to missed flight and David and Jane very efficiently changed our transfer from airport and provided us with entry to a very comfortable setting after a long trip. The bedrooms and bathrooms and living space were very comfortable and nicely set up. The pool was wonderful to jump into after sightseeing or a relaxing day at the villa. We were 8 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. The location was in a very nice neighborhood and close to Paceville and St. Julians. A car is needed for convenience. Grocery store within 5 minutes. We loved being able to all be together at Villa Sunnyside.

  We had a fabulous week in Villa Sunnyside. Myself, my wife, our daughter, son and daughter in law, and six grandchildren. The villa was perfect. The basement games rooms were brilliant for the kids, and the pool was big enough for us all to have a good splash about. The whole place was clean and the facilities were excellent. There were a couple of minor things which needed attention when we arrived, but one phone call to Jane and she sorted them out immediately. Her and her colleagues were extremly helpful and friendly. High Ridge is a good area, peaceful and quiet. There is a briiliant local supermarket 5 mins away by car, Meleiha beach is 15 - 20 mins, and Paceville and Spinola bay 5 mins where there are great restaurants. We enjoyed our week so much we have booked again for next year,

• Disappointing!

  We stayed for a week in March this year and it was disappointing.The photos do look amazing but we had a number of issues and the owners were not receptive to our problems. Firstly the whole villa was cold and smelt of damp. I do not think it had been aired and they had simply opened it up for us. Our bathroom was the ensuite on the second floor and had horrible damp and a lot of the walls had mold on them. Secondly the towels and bedding were damp and unpleasant and didn't dry at all, the whole week, and we had to have the heating on a lot. In the height of summer it might be fine as there is a washing line on the roof, but a shame. The main issue was the basement rooms - both floors. We have a one year old daughter and thought the play area would be great however it was very damp, the ceiling was dripping with water and the smell was horrible. I would not want to spend anytime there, let alone allow my daughter to breathe in the wet air. Furthermore there is no natural light or windows. We did complain and the owner, David, but he did not seem bothered. He simply said the weather was not his fault (as it had rained the previous week) repeatedly and merely shrugged. We requested 3 dehumidifiers, received one, and then we had to argue to not have to pay for the electricity for having it on round the clock. We suggested the swimming pool might have been leaking, which he denied until the last day, when he accepted it could be, but he was more concerned about sorting it for his guests the next week! Part of the issue was his attitude, When confronted with the problems and we suggested he should have e mailed us to say that the basement rooms were unusable and that the towels and bedding were damp and that there was no bedding for the cot, he walked out. The general response was 'why didn't you tell me sooner', despite us informing them on numerous occasions and he would not compensate us. It simply is not up to scratch - it is not the level of luxury that it is advertised as and the pictures are misleading. We did have lovely weather so were out and about everyday, which made the holiday enjoyable, however we left with a general feeling disappointment and annoyance that the owners would not accept responsibility for the problems with the villa. Poor customer service,

  The house is huge and really nice decorated. Everything is there: a swimmingpool! a large livingroom and kitchen, several nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The pictures says it all! The neighbourhood is quiet. It only takes a 10 minute walk to the shops. I can recommend this villa to everyone, especially to those who want to spend their holiday in a quiet, but nice area. David, thanks for all your help!
