The view from the master bedroom is breath-taking and varies from day today - from the crystal-clear reflection of trees and sky to the mist gently rising from the lake to snow-filled vistas, while extra-high windows and cathedral ceilings let the sun pour into spacious living spaces.
Three large bedrooms (including a huge master bedroom suite), three and a half baths (one with a jacuzzi), fully equipped kitchen, open, airy layout, fireplace, and separate entertainment centers (air hockey, exercise equipment, and even a library for young and old) make this an ideal family vacation spot. A king-sized bed, queen, three singles, queen-sized sofa bed, and double futon easily accommodate 10 people.
This 4-season vacation home is designed for comfort and wired for fun: Internet, cable, and a DVD player are all included, along with air conditioning, washer and dryer, all sheets and towels, and all the other amenities (from microwave, to lobster pot, to fireplace) that will make this feel like your home away from home.
Fish off the dock, take the canoe and explore the bogs, go hiking and biking along the trails in the preservation areas, spend the day at one of the nearby beaches, or explore some of the antique shops for which the Cape is known. All are located a short drive away.
At the end of the day, watch the sunset from the wraparound deck, throw some fish on the outdoor grill, or enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants. We dare you not to relax while you’re here!
The weekly rental ($1,800-$2775 depending on the dates) makes this easily the best deal on the Cape, a far cry from the cost and crowds at nearby New Seabury. We had the most amazing stay with our friends at Lakeside Point of View.The house was impeccable and so cozy and comfortable, The lake view was the icing on the cake. We enjoyed barbequing on the spacious porch with the super duper view....it was just awesome!! Would have loved to stay longer. We highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates a clean, spacious home with the best amenities and a very flexible home owner! Thanks Ann!!

We had a delightful 3 night weekend here - 2 fifty something couples. Everything is as advertised. We loved the 9.5 foot ceilings and abundant windows coupled with a lovely "lack of clutter" decor that was very tastefully done. The 180 degree waterfront views on the first floor and from the decks are really special. We ate at some very good, fun restaurants: Moonakis Cafe for breakfast, Wicked, Siena and the British Beer Co.for lunch and dinner. The gas fireplace is easy and warm...although we would have loved an outdoor fire pit near the water...we had a full moon and it was not too cold. It would be great to go here in the summer but we had a really lovely late fall time here as well. Thanks - we would definitely recommend this home!
