The property overlooks state conservation land and is an especially beautiful setting off-season! The view from the master bedroom is breath-taking and varies from day today - from the crystal-clear reflection of trees and sky to the mist gently rising from the lake.
Three large bedrooms (including a huge master bedroom suite), three and a half baths (one with a jacuzzi), fully equipped kitchen, open, airy layout, fireplace, and separate entertainment centers (air hockey, exercise equipment, and even a library for young and old) make this an ideal family vacation spot. A king-sized bed, queen, three singles, and a queen-sized sofa bed easily accommodate nine people.
This 4-season vacation home is designed for comfort and wired for fun: Internet, cable, and a DVD player are all included, along with air conditioning, washer and dryer, all sheets and towels, and all the other amenities (from microwave, to lobster pot, to fireplace) that will make this feel like your home away from home.
Fish off the dock, take the canoe and explore the bogs, go hiking and biking along the trails in the preservation areas, spend the day at one of the nearby beaches, or explore some of the antique shops for which the Cape is known. All are located a short drive away.
At the end of the day, watch the sunset from the wraparound deck, throw some fish on the outdoor grill, or enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants. We dare you not to relax while you’re here!
The weekly rental ($1,800-$2,800 depending on the dates) makes this easily the best deal on the Cape, a far cry from the cost and crowds at nearby New Seabury. Point of View--what an appropriate name! Such a beautiful spot. I awoke with a smile on my face each morning, seeing that beautiful, misty lake at dusk. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a week. The weather was glorious, the house perfect--so well equipped. Someone who cooks a lot appointed this kitchen!:) We hope to come back soon.
