We had the most amazing stay with our friends at Lakeside Point of View. The house was impeccable and so cozy and comfortable, The lake view was the icing on the cake. We enjoyed barbequing on the spacious porch with the super duper view....it was just awesome!! Would have loved to stay longer. We highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates a clean, spacious home with the best amenities and a very flexible home owner! Thanks Ann!!

We had a delightful 3 night weekend here - 2 fifty something couples. Everything is as advertised. We loved the 9.5 foot ceilings and abundant windows coupled with a lovely "lack of clutter" decor that was very tastefully done. The 180 degree waterfront views on the first floor and from the decks are really special. We ate at some very good, fun restaurants: Moonakis Cafe for breakfast, Wicked, Siena and the British Beer Co.for lunch and dinner. The gas fireplace is easy and warm...although we would have loved an outdoor fire pit near the water...we had a full moon and it was not too cold. It would be great to go here in the summer but we had a really lovely late fall time here as well. Thanks - we would definitely recommend this home!

Point of View--what an appropriate name! Such a beautiful spot. I awoke with a smile on my face each morning, seeing that beautiful, misty lake at dusk. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a week. The weather was glorious, the house perfect--so well equipped. Someone who cooks a lot appointed this kitchen!:) We hope to come back soon. Many of our family members are here in MA so this would be the ideal place to gather. Thank you so much!

What a beautiful home we have shared with all of our family (11 in all). Spacious, so clean and peaceful. The weather was just the best, ordered dinner from Cooke's Seafood, very good. The canoe rides were so relaxing. Thank you for taking such pride in your home. The Trudels, Chemsford MA, The Grays, Georgia, The Words, Philly.

There are occasions in a person’s life that render a person speechless. For some it’s a graduation, marriage, and birth of a child, for me: it’s a great vacation. That vacation was at Point of View. When we arrived we immediately knew it had exceeded our expectations and the pictures on the web had not done it justice. I am a little skeptical when traveling because there is information that websites don’t specify. Is the place clean, I mean really clean, is it updated, well appointed, what style décor, it is a good use of space, are there down pillows, are the included linens plush and new, is there a Teflon frying pan for my morning scrambled eggs? These things to a cautious traveler are a roll of the dice, a wait and see kind of event, especially because they are awkward questions to ask during making reservations. To those who dare to rent vacation homes it can be nerve racking and sometimes downright disappointing. I have never enjoyed the experience of lugging linens and towels and beach chairs on vacation. Packing a suitcase for me is enough work. Also I was so impressed with the attention to detail the homeowners have put into the home. Top-down bottom-up shades, beautiful fixtures, appliances to envy, central a/c, ceiling fans, dimmer switches, a Jacuzzi overlooking the water, 3 separate living rooms, one on each floor with modern sofas, a fireplace, balconies on two of the bedrooms, game room with air hockey table, wireless internet, spotless bathrooms, library of DVDs, books to read, games to play, canoe with life jackets, pots, pans, dishes, cuisinart, blender, lobster pot, candles, trash bags, good hand soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and so much more. The actual vacation has something for everyone. Indoor and outdoor games and water activities for little ones. (The kids even played smash mitten in the garage when it rained.) Romantic outdoor dining for couples and a late night Jacuzzi, or complete peace and quiet for solo travelers, either way it is a place worth visiting every year. The confirmation instructions and directions included are very detailed for the obsessive-compulsive types. And the views of the lake and nature around the home are breathtaking. The weather during our trip was less than desirable but it didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time thanks to the effort of the homeowners. The homeowners even called to check in and make sur

This place is fabulous! I've rented other Cape houses, but this one is absolutely the most perfect thing. Beautiful views, a modern, elegant house that is comfortable, quiet, and cozy. I look forward to next summer's stay with my family.
