Every Londoner will tell you that the most sought-after locations in London are Kensington, Chelsea and Notting Hill Gate because these neighborhoods are close to landmarks, museums, Kensington Palace and the world-class shopping of Kensington, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. Our loft style studio is in the heart of it all, located in Kensington and just across the street from The Natural History Museum. It sleeps up to 3 people. This gorgeous rental apartment has been meticulously remodelled, furnished to the highest standards to provide an elegant and comfortable stay in London.
Walk to the famous Museum Row, to Kensington Palace where Princess Diana lived, to Hyde Park, Speaker's Corner, The Princess Diana Fountain, Harrods, to the trendy shops and restaurants of Fulham Road, The King's Road, Brompton Cross and High Street Kensington, including Walton Street, Sloane Street and Fulham Road. You are five minutes walk to Gloucester Road Tube or to South Kensington Tube, which are direct to Heathrow and to the Theatre District.
Walk up the original york stone steps of this grand Victorian building; it was once a single, large home but has since been converted into apartments. The apartment is located to the right and down a hallway from the Central Lobby, making the location very quiet.
Enter the apartment to find the bathroom to your left and the kitchen directly ahead with a beautifully refinished oak wood floor that is complimented with the blond-oak kitchen cabinets and the cream color walls. This theme is carried throughout the apartment to enhance its space and give it an airy feel. The bathroom to your left is no exception. Built-in cabinets support a modern porcelain sink below a wall-to-wall mirror that reflects the circular glass-enclosed and tile-lined shower as well as the many chrome fixtures.
Proceed into the kitchen and the details continue to please. It has been totally remodeled and decorated with halogen lighting and pretty glass mosaic tiles behind the cabinets. The kitchen is small, but offers plenty of countertop space and every modern appliance you would need. Besides the standard oven, stove, and refrigerator, you’ll find a washing machine, toaster, microwave, drip coffeemaker, pots and pans, and top-of-the-line dishes and utensils—everything you’ll need to prepare gourmet. The apartment angles to the right as you exit the kitchen, and immediately on your right you find a small dining nook. It has a granite table and leather dining chairs with two extra folding chairs in a cupboard if more seating is needed.
The cozy living room has a long modern sofa that we had made for us in Italy. The sofa converts to two separate single beds at night and is comfortable for lounging or napping during the day. Enhancing the room’s size are an enormous theatre set painting on the left wall and the 12-foot-long hanging silk curtains in taupe framing the large, stacked windows.
Large,ceiling-height windows soar behind the sofa, making the apartment very light. Our guests tell us the photos don't do justice to the wonderful feeling of space and light you have when you are relaxing in the living room.
The immense size and height of the ceiling allowed for the construction of a mezzanine loft for sleeping quarters. And in order to conserve space, we constructed a contemporary style staircase with alternate risers so it is more natural to climb. It’s a clever and space-saving idea, more comfortable than a spiral staircase. The mezzanine features a queen-sized bed and cupboards, and there are additional cupboards under the stairs, in the entryway, and in the eating nook, so there is plenty of storage space. Further enhancing this quite remarkable room are the original Victorian oil paintings on the ceiling which have been restored and are historically listed. And, to top it off, we’ve installed a beautiful French chandelier. We also provide a TV with all the English channels, dual standard DVD player, and stereo so you can bring your own music and films to enjoy. You’ll also find free high-speed Internet access so you can catch up on your emails.
The location is unmatched; step outside and find Kensington Gardens one minute away on your left and Museum Row to your right. There are tons of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood and the famous shopping of Kensington and Knightsbridge is a short walk away.
We are sorry, but we do not allow smoking in any of our apartments.

From recent guests: 'I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed our stay at the Queensgate apartment. Never have I seen such beautifully inventive use of space! Everything was absolutely comfortable, exceptionally beautiful, and truly perfect. As in all of the ParisPerfect and LondonPerfect apartments in which we’ve stayed, Madeline's sense of design and hospitality is awesome. Thanks for the opportunity to "live" in London.'
