Waialua Beach, Kaunakai, Molokai, Hawaii - Molokai, HI Vacation Rental Friendly Honu is located 19 miles east of the town of Kaunakakai on the east end of Molokai, overlooking Maui in the quiet community of Waialua. Newly remodeled 1000 square foot vacation rental with a nice view of the ocean, Maui and the mountains of Molokai. It is steps from Waialua Beach. On one side of Friendly Honu is a vacant lot; on the other side is fruit & vegetable garden tended by our friend Eddy Garcia. Eddy has a boat & is an avid fisherman. He will take you fishing or arrange for others to take you. If the waves aren't too big, he may take you on a tour of the north coast to see some of the highest sea cliffs in the world. Be sure to visit with him when you see him working in the garden. He is loaded with all sorts of information on Molokai. A stone Congregational church is a few lots away. Beautiful blue-green ocean and white sand beach are protected by a reef 1/4 mile out that allows peaceful swimming, snorkeling and SCUBA diving. One - two miles east of Friendly Honu is open surf where you can drive next to the ocean & watch the big trade wind waves or picnic, sunbathe, surf or fish. See & hike to the 500 foot Hipuapua Waterfalls & the nearby 250 foot Moaula Waterfalls at the head of the Halawa Valley & sunbathe on the beach at the mouth of the river. If you want a guided hike to the falls, Eddy will arrange it. He lives in the Halawa Valley with his wife & son. Visit famous Kalaupapa by air or donkey ride & see it from a lookout high above the town. Drive to the west end of Molokai to dig your feet into one of the longest, white-sand, dune beaches in Hawaii. Master Bedroom: queen bed, night stands, dresser, closet, TV connection & master bath. Guest Bedroom: queen bed, night stands, dresser, closet & TV connection. Twin Bedroom: twin beds, night stand, armoire, closet, TV & DVD. Living Room: Couch, rocker, end table, armoire, TV on rolling table, VCR, DVD & CD player. Dining Room: Dining table & six chairs. Kitchen: Full Kitchen, wall mounted oven, toaster, coffe maker & grinder, blender & tiled prep island with glass cook top. Between 12/16 - 1/3, the rent is 20% higher than the posted rates. We are reluctant to rent it for less than 10 nights during Christmas & New Years & the reservation must include both holidays in the minimum 10 night period.

Deposit Due Within 14 Days of making reservation; Bal Due 30 Days Prior to Arrival
No Refunds for Reservations of 10 or more Nights. For less than 10 nights,
50% Refund, if reservation canceled 30 or more days prior to scheduled arrival
date. No Refund, if reservation canceled 0-29 days prior to scheduled arrival
date.
