Enjoy incredible Sunsets and watch the ships sail by while sitting on the patio and several decks. Captain's View is also known for bird watching, as many rare species are often sited on the property. It has a turtle pond off the patio that is protected wetlands. This is a tranquil setting that is best appreciated in the early morning and at sunset.
In addition to the enjoyment of the wetlands, you have beach views over the tree tops of the DNR protected myrtle. Daily sightings of the massive cargo Vessels pass by your windows. This North Shore beach house is on a quiet residential street away from the noise and crowds of the pier. One of your neighbors is a Hollywood star!
A short 200-yard stroll via a private beach access takes you to a wide, uncrowded beach with the best fishing on Tybee. There is nothing between you and the beach but sand dunes and turtles!
This spacious four-bedroom Beach House is decorated in a tropical décor with comfortable furnishings. Custom art depicting the resident egrets, wall murals, tapestries and stained glass windows were commissioned from a local Tybee artist specifically for this home.
The House is perfect for two families traveling together. The house is set up with a separate kitchen and two bedrooms per side with a lock off door that provides privacy if needed.
The large living room with plenty of windows looks out to the patio and turtle pond. The Living room has a cozy fireplace and a 32 inch TV, DVD, Home Theatre System.
The Patio is the perfect spot for taking in North Beach’s famous sunsets. The adjacent Dining Room also has large windows for bringing in the outside beauty.
The first spacious fully outfitted kitchen offers every amenity needed. Refrigerator, dishwasher, oven range and microwave. A second fully outfitted Kitchenette with full-size oven range, microwave and refrigerator is a plus for such a large beach house.
Captain’s View offers two Master Suites. The first Master Bedroom has its own private, romantic balcony providing the home’s best views.
The second Master Suite has a romantic two-person whirlpool bathtub and a two-sided fireplace, king-size, four-poster bed with water views and wrap around deck. Enjoy a relaxing bubble bath in the whirlpool while watching the sunset from your bathroom window.
The All bedrooms have TV’s. All linens provided except Beach Towels.

We returned from a most enjoyable long weekend! The home is in a wonderful location (north beach), just perfect for great walks! The neighborhood is residential, very quiet. Inside you will feel most comfortable with cozy places to sit and visit or other inviting spots to catch up on your reading. Plenty of room for our party of 7 adults both young and not-as-young! The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The kitchen was a wonderful place to cook and spend time together. The dining area was lovely too. The owner was most helpful and patient with answering my questions and with every step in the rental process! The entire home was immaculate upon arrival and we have absolutely no complaints. The house was amazing and I only hope that we can return in the future.

We stayed here for six nights in September and had a great experience. After a long drive from New York, arriving at the House and being met by the beautiful views and having the Sea right there was a trip well worth every mile. I read the great reviews on this house and booked it on the great comments. I am always a bit nervous trying a new property but I need not have worried. The house was the most amazing and relaxing place I have been to, it was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Our vacation was a wonderful relaxing time and would love to return the next time we are in the area.

We recently spent a week in the house and were disappointed in the overall condition of the house as well as the cleanliness of the house upon our arrival. The pictures lead you to believe that this is a wonderful home at a great value with a short walk to the beach. The house is in terrible need of repair, both inside and out and is frankly not worth the premium price we paid for the week, which does not include internet service. Although the location on the north point of the island is very quiet and has a good view of the turtle pond, the nearest entry point to the beach is actually the place where the river and the ocean meet....not really a good beach spot. The other entry was all the way down the street and over the dunes, which was quite a walk for someone with small children. I would not stay in the house again unless the price was slashed significantly.
Owner response:This review comes as such a shock. Unfortunately some guests look for issues in order to get money refunded. They didn't contact us about a cleaning issues or something else during their stay and we have just good reviews about this house on North beach.

Our stay in this charming home was perfect. We spent the weekend with 2 other families and we all had a wonderful time. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a family get together. There's lots of room and you won't feel like you are right on top of each other and was very we'll kept. Its so close to the beach and convenient to restaurants and shopping. We definitely hope to be able to vacation here again!

Our family had a fantastic and relaxing vacation at this house. The house itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the patio. Every night we would sit under the stars. This is a great home and near so many beautiful places to visit. Our family had a great time. We stayed 7 days and didn't want to leave. The home has everything you need. You can cook at home, BBQ or go out to the local restaurants, all nearby. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we hope to return one day.

Our family spent a week here last summer and we're coming back... We had the best time!! The house is huge, clean and beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, perfectly located property. We spent hours sitting inside,outside,looking across the water, at the boats/ships ranging from canoes to huge cargo ships. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it for family groups.

I am happy to comment on this listing, which was a pleasant surprise after the original one I had chosen was taken. This place was amazing. A wonderful house to come home to from the hot sun. Beautiful natural surroundings and lovely accomodations made our stay wonderful. We look forward to our next visit.
