BRAVO!!!!!! We could not have chosen a better home than this one. This home was better than the pictures and description states. From walking into this home we felt so warm and comfortable. Denise, our host left us Vermont made maple syrup, pancake mix, candy and coffee. What a nice touch! The home was immaculate and so many ammenities that you do not find in other vacation rentals. I am a travel agent and I have been to many vacation homes and without doubt this is on the top of my list. We really enjoyed the garage as it snowed the first night. It was nice to park my new BMW in the garage. We hope to stay at this charming home again and I will recommend it to my clients, family and friends. Thank you so much Denise for letting us share your beautiful home with you.

Oh my gosh...that is exactly what my husband and I said when we entered this lovely guest house. We had our niece over for dinner the first night we were there, and even she (who lives in Stowe) wants to move there! The house is ideal with all the comforts of home, including a cozy fireplace. The property is centrally located, halfway between the town of Stowe and Mt. Mansfield, a perfect place for anyone who wants a place to stay during the ski season. Plus, we joined the other "peeps" and traveled to northern Vermont, towards Jay's Peak, to enjoy the colors and engage in other activities, including hiking and visiting Ben and Jerry's. All in all, our 4-day stay was perfect; the property was (and still is) immaculate and even came with a house warming gift of pancake mix, maple syrup and Lake Champlain chocolate. A wonderful restaurant recommendation is Harrison's in downtown Stowe. Reservations are a must. When we return to this area, we will definitely stay at this guest house.

We stayed at this property for four nights and had a wonderful time. This was our sixth visit to Stowe for skiing and snowboarding and to date our favorite property rental. The home was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Our hostess, Denise, was thoughtful enough to provide both pancake mix and maple syrup for use during our visit. We stayed in the house for four (4) nights and were very refreshed for four days of skiing and snowboarding. The covered garage was an unexpected bonus and very convenient and time-saving in not having to clean snow each morning prior to driving to the resort.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
