My husband and I are fairly regular visitors to the States and we have used the VRBO site on many occasions and I can honestly say without hesitation that this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. It was impeccably clean and tidy with all the comforts of home. There was everything we could possibly need there and the location was perfect it was heavenly. The photos did not do it justice. It was the perfect base to our holiday in the Keys and a pleasure to return home to in the evening. There were many restaurants nearby, but nothing compared to ' Mrs Mac's Kitchen, amazing choice and equally amazing food especially the Key Lime Pie. Spent a lovely day at the John Pennekamp Park which is nearby and was also within easy traveling distances to Key Wesr ( well worth a visit ) and the Everglades and Alligator Farm where we rode the Air Boat ( that was awesome). All in all we would most definitely recommend this listing to anyone and we really intend returning there ourselves in the not too distant future

Thank you for sharing the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Th Osprey pair provided hours of entertainment. This was a great home base for checking out the Keys. Check out No Name Pub on Big Pine Key..it's hard to find but well worth the drive.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The condo was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. It was a 2 minute walk to the pool and a ten minute walk to the beach. We went off season so it was also very quiet, and a few times we had the beach all to ourselves for hours. I would stay here again in the future.

Firstly I must say how much of a pleasure it was to deal with the owner, Stevie. Her kindness and patience were a great help. Now, for the wonderful, clean and 'perfect find' condo...please, if you are looking for a home from home in the Tavernier area then you have found it. It really is perfect. Everything you need to supplied in the home. The view from the balcony is stunning and the amenities are very close by ensuring that you can take full advantage of everything offered on site. Finally there is a truly nice and helpful man who operates the security gate in the evening who cannot do enough to help. He is a credit to the site and deserves some recognition. Thank you Stevie, we look forward to returning to Tavernia as we know exactly where we will be staying upon our return. Kind regards and all the very best to you!

The residential complex, apartment and swimming pool are confortable, peaceful and perfect for relaxing. A wonderful experience for those people who want to get in touch with nature and sea wild life. My 12 year old granddaughter and I had the most wonderful visit to the Keys, much of it because of how much we enjoyed the condo at Paradise Point! Over the years I've rented many, many condos for vacations but none have been so thoughtfully and generously furnished as this one. The corner location provided a perfect view of the ocean and the marshes and such a bright and airy ambiance. The pool, private beach and pier were lovely with lighted palm trees at night and great photo opportunities. The location was so convenientt for us as we visited John Pennecamp Park and Everglades National Park and Alligator Farm. All in all, the entire expedrience was very satisfactory and I hope we can return again soon. I felt very confident renting from the Bovees; every aspect of the contract was spelled out and professional.

Beautiful Vacation

First time rental of a condo. It turned out to be a very good idea. My husband and I with 2 teenage grandchildren had a very beautiful vacation together. Everything was very close- grocery shopping, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed the private beach and the swimming pool. Most of the time there were very few people at either place. It was great having all the amenities of home. We got some great pictures and would love to come back again. We would probably come back when the weather was a little cooler, however, the Keys were a very beautiful place to visit.

Tavernier is a great location and this end unit in Ocean Pointe is terrific! All the amenities were exactly as described. The King bed was super comfortable. This nicely furnished condo has a very, very comfortable queen bed, two good bathrooms and a second bedroom with twin beds. The wireless internet is a great plus (we brought our iPad - good for researching local restaurants etc.). Kitchen was well stocked with cookware etc and very clean. The condo development is in a quiet and peaceful location. Good access to groceries and restaurants etc. but milk and other small necessities are available in the clubhouse. This is not for the partiers out there, but is an ideal spot for a relaxed family or couple's vacation in the Keys. The Wild Bird Sanctuary nearby is a must, and we had a great experience on the glass bottom boat tour that leaves from the Holiday Inn in Key Largo. Our favorite restaurant was The Fish House in Key Largo. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Pool house is undergoing renovation, so worth checking up on that.

Fantastic Vacation Rental

The apartment was extremely comfortable. It is fully stocked with everything you could possible need. Stevie is extremely accessible if any situation were to arise. The apartment also has a very cozy and warm feeling to it, making it feel like home. Our children loved the pool and the beach (on the bay side). The picnic areas are well maintained and fantastic. Our kids had fun in the park. There's shopping nearby. At night, the sky lights up with all the fantastic stars. We loved the place. Stevie is very honest and easy to deal with. We left the apartment clean, and got back 100% of our deposit. Please don't let the deposit hold you back from renting this fantastic place!

Its always stressful for us getting to the location and settling in the kids. Our expectations we totally MET based on what was advertised. There is probably every thing you need in this condo except your own person hygeine stuff and groceries. The condition of the condo was cleaner than any place we've ever stayed. Lots of places advertised as professionally cleaned but find it somewhat dusty. This place is VERY CLEAN. The condo is equipt with all updated appliances, condiments, coffee maker : } and all you need. Most of all it is a very large condo inside like a home. Stevie was very customer focussed and we will contact her 1st before anyone else if we return to the Key Largo area. The over all area is quiet and safe with security at entrance gate. Grocery stores, gym, restaurants all within 2 miles or 2 minutes south down highway 1 on the right side. Just alittle farther down 5-10 miles is the Founders Park with all sand beach and gazebo for quiet family time and very good, safe swimming. The only thing I recommend is bringing your own pillow if you have neck issues like me and need real firm pillow. Overall I give Stevie and husband a 5 star rating for perfect service. Thankyou Steivie and husband. Your place is tough to beat.

There were 2 couples on this trip and spent a week at this property. Everything was as expected when we arrived and felt right at home from the beginning. There were absolutely no maintenance issues or problems while we were there. Spent the week scuba diving, sightseeing the keys, relaxing at the pool etc. We would recommend this property in a heartbeat.

The condo was very well equiped and we would recommend. We have rented many beach cottages and condos and Paradise Point is among the few we would consider renting again. The house is spotlessly clean and it has all the convieniences of home. The Bovees had supplied us with a list of activities and restaurants in the area so we were able to plan in advance. There is a pool, however we preferred to swim in the lagoon right at the back door. The little fish swim right up into your hand. The kids loved it. There are plenty of places to take go fishing, snorkling or just out on a boat to see the reef. There is a lovely dock side restaurant within a 10 minute walk and there is also a great Italian nearby that does take-out if you don't fancy cooking after a long day lazing by the lagoon. "Comfort in the Keys"

The owners made us feel like guests staying with friends. The condo was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We had a nice view of the ocean, an excellent pool for swimming laps, a cozy beach and other facilities. There was no exercise room but I joined Froggies, a physical fitness center close by. We did have a minor plumbing issue but that was taken care of immediately and unobtrusively.

My wife and I had a wondeful anniversary together. The spot was central to the keys so we visited the Everglades and Key West, while snorkeling, kyaking, swimming and other activities nearby. Just back from Paradise Point (July 2-6, '09). Lovely, bright & clean apartment in a great location in Tavernier near Islamorada & Key Largo. Stevie was great to deal with and would highly recommend dealing with her again. John Pennekamp Park for Canoeing, Snorkelling & Boat charters was excellent. Day trip to Key West was also great. Whale Harbour (Sea Food Buffet) and Fish Shop (Key Largo) well worth visits, but Cap'n Shon's (opp. Pennekamp Park entrance) did the BEST lunch salads ! Darragh & family.

We had a FABULOUS time at Paradise Point! The master bedroom was extremely comfortable with lots of room for everything! Lots of seating room in the living room also! The view was wonderful. We spent a week in the condo and liked the stay. We had a senior and a teenager in our party and both were comfortable in the facility. Ants appeared only twice and the vinegar spray took care of them for good. There were a lot of food items left over in the fridge, which were not expired and we gladly used them. The kitchen was well equipped. We could not use the beach due to extremely hot weather and hot water/bad smell combination, but would highly recommend driving to the Harry Harris state park just down the road on Burton Drive (no fee on weekdays). That was far better then Pennekamp beaches and so close to condo. Safe area for kids to splash in and open water for snorkeling beyond the water break. We wondered why the front door had no good heat barrier - that could cause a huge bill for AC and actually created some discomfort in the bedrooms - we had to keep the door closed all the time otherwise it was too humid inside. Quiet place, good for low key renters.

We're always looking for ways to help us keep our rental prices one of the lowest in Ocean Point Suites. Vinegar is the best solution to those pesky sugar ants, unfortunately they love Florida too!
