Don and Dee, We had an awesome vacation at your condo! It's big and roomy, just the perfect size and set up for the four of us. Plus, it's bright, airy and equipped with everything we could need. The boys loved the ChacHa pool where they played happily for hours. And the Reef across the street gave us a wonderful beach hang-out. On our first visit we bought the all-inclusive day pass and super-indulged, but other days we did the freebie and just walked back across the street to the condo for lunch – perfect! We had lots of fun and some great meals in town but we also loved cooking "at home", just hanging out on the condo balcony enjoying the cool (ish) evening breeze and the peace and quiet of our own space. Thanks for taking such good care of us, we’ll be back for sure! Dear Don and Dee, The condo that we rented from you at ChacHa was wonderful and we had a great time during our stay! All of the amenities were there for a very comfortable and relaxing vacation for myself, my wife and our fourteen year old daughter. The rooms were spacious and clean and we enjoyed the jungle setting from the back porch where we spent early morning and evening hours relaxing and listening to the birds. The pool on-site was a nice addition as was the access to the large beach-front resort across the street. As you have requested our input, we would recommend that anyone staying at ChacHa should rent a car for transport to downtown Playa, the local food stores and the numerous attractions including Xcaret, Tulum and the peaceful cenotes. The roads and highway system are excellent and there is ample security around the entire resort area. Thanks Don and Dee for a memorable trip to Playa and we hope to return for a future stay. Thank you so much for the fabulous stay in your condo. It was delightful and we had a FANTASTIC vacation. Of course, it went by way too fast and like all vacations: you think you have sooo much time and then it whirls by and it’s over. We had many day trips – Tulum, Puerto Morales, Akumal. Hi Don and Dee, Just wanted to write and tell you what a wonderful time we had in Mexico at your condo. The place was bright, cheery, clean and well put together. I almost wanted to do a dance when we entered your condo!. No more hotels for us. Your condo was a pretty home away from home. About the owner: We’ve been vacationing in the Mayan Riviera since the ‘90s, starting with a few winter get-away trips at the all-inclusives. But we were always drawn to the charms of Playa itself, spending more and more time in town at the restaurants, bars and beaches there, thus defeating the purpose of an all-inclusive! So our next step was “graduating” to the smaller boutique hotels on 5th Ave. which confirmed our love for the “real” Playa. And that ultimately led to the next step of buying Casa Quintana, our home at ChacHa Condominiums. In 2006, just a year after buying ChacHa, a job opportunity took us from Toronto to Florida. Although Playa no longer had the weather advantage that lured us from those cold Canadian winters that didn’t stop us from wanting to escape to our ChacHa oasis on a regular basis. Then in 2011, we made the final, big move and now live here year round. Yes, full-time paradise. We’re here with our big dog, Quintana (notice a theme?) so ChacHa isn’t the right home for us – but we think it’ll be a perfect vacation spot for you, as it was for us. And now we’re only a short walk away so we can work even harder, live and in person, to make it so.
