The three bedroom, two bath home has hardwood floors, inviting furnishings, and a well-equipped kitchen. The living room opens up to expansive lake views. The master bedroom is downstairs with a queen-size bed, huge walk-in closet, and bath. Downstairs includes one bedroom with 2 twin beds. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and living room has a queen sofa bed and futon. All of the bedrooms have lake views.
High speed cable internet is available if you need to stay connected and bring your laptop.
Enjoy 120 feet of waterfront for swimming, boating, and fishing. Feel free to bring your own boat to enjoy seven mile long Maranacook Lake and superb boating and bass fishing.
The water quality for fishing, swimming and recreational use is exceptional. The Winthrop Lakes area is close to shopping in Augusta, antiquing in Hallowell and the many summer features of the region. We are only a 45 minute drive to Freeport's L.L. Bean and other outlet stores.

The peace and quiet beauty of nature, the morning mist, the stillness of the lake...what a magical place!! We had an enchanted 3-week stay recently and the owner, Greg Fuller, thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. A huge deck runs the entire length of the rear of the second floor of the house that provided fantastic views of the lake. On a daily basis we would see our friend “Oscar the Otter”, numerous loons, and the resident bald- eagle. I also awoke one morning to view a moose swimming directly towards the house through a foggy morning mist! No day was complete until we viewed the spectacular sunsets over the lake from the huge and very relaxing hot tub. The house was incredibly well-equipped and everything was spotless. The dock by the lake was great and the tandem kayak was a definite plus. We appreciated all the little touches provided to us to make our stay comfortable. It was very hard to leave this place but hopefully we'll be coming back for years to come! Thanks Greg! -Scott & Linda, Grafton, MA

My family and I have been going to Maine for 14 years. This is definitely the best rental we have ever had. We have two small children and this home was absolutely perfect. The owner is very accessible and attentive. We rented a boat and docked it right at the house. We arrived during Hurricane Irene and watching this unfold this home was amaing. All windows in the back have direct lake views.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We have now stayed at this property for three years in a row -- and every year we say --- we're going to do it again. The house, the setting and amenities provide such "peace on earth", it is hard to beat. We walk out the back door, walk down to the dock, hop in our boat and go fishing. Where on earth can you even attempt to do this. And one better, we can bring God's creatures -- Chumley and Bailey (our dogs). Our son and his family (from CA) have now joined us for two of those years and yes -- they're going to do it again next year!!! Great find!!!
