Very convenient to everything Orleans has to offer. Our well appointed home is just a short drive or bike-ride to beaches, town cove or town center. Within walking distance are: pizza/sandwich-deli and coffee-shop; ice-cream stand; fresh food market featuring fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats, beer and wine; two restaurants (Italian and Contemporary) and a post office. Boating access and sea-kayak rentals are just 1-mile away at town cove.
This home is in immaculate condition having been completely redecorated and newly furnished. Two large master bedrooms with queen-beds and two more bedrooms each offering twin-beds make this home ideal for two families or extended families. For added comfort, all bedrooms include air-conditioning against the summer heat.
The rear deck overlooking the large backyard is perfect for outdoor play, relaxation or enjoying a meal. There is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot/cold water for quick rinse-offs after a day at the beach.
The home is set-up for wireless internet service, printer and every bedroom even has it's own TV with expanded cable service!
Orleans marks the beginning of Nauset Beach, one of the most beautiful and popular of the Cape’s beaches. Nauset Beach is a wide sweep of sand bounded by high dunes. On the bay side, Skaket Beach offers calmer, warmer waters and at low tide, water is only knee-deep a half mile out. Rock Harbor is the center of the local fishing industry and charter boat rentals. Sunsets over Rock Harbor or Skaket Beach are memorable. Orleans is also the commercial hub of the Lower Cape, with many specialty shops and excellent restaurants.
The nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail runs through town along an abandoned railbed. This trail is great for biking or hiking and runs nearly 20 miles from Dennis to Eastham, passing by salt marshes, cranberry bogs, and ponds.

Why the Owner Chose Orleans
This home combines the perfect amenities for a summer vacation - location, size and affordability for families looking for comfortable, fully-furnished living. We also love the fact that our home is within walking or biking distance of the many things to see and do in and around Orleans.
The Unique Benefits at this Single-Family Home
We really enjoy walking the grassy path along the cranberry bog at the end of our private street from which we enjoy seeing waterfowl, hawks and other critters. And then we often treat ourselves at the other end to an ice cream cone from Sundae School, a coffee from one of the variety of markets or shops on Main Street heading toward Nauset Beach, and fresh vegetables from an organic farm stand.
Another favorite treat is to pack up a few munchies with some drinks and take a short drive over to Skaket Beach to watch the sunset - it's always different and is such a delightful way to end the day!
Fresh produce, seafood, meats, and baked goods as well as sandwiches and wine.
Zagat-rated and yearly recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence.
Sandwiches, coffee, cold-cuts and convenience foods as well as wine and special-occasion cakes.
Owner's Map of Orleans
We've travelled a lot of places in the world but having also sailed in and around Cape Cod for many years we've grown to love its shoreline and quintessential New England lifestyle. Our boat is long gone, but we've been able to more than compensate with this beautiful cape-style home in what we feel is an ideal location in Orleans.
