Bring your boat to fish in the gulf, island hop or sunbathe on the beach. Nearby outer islands with historic ruins and lighthouse to explore as well as Manatee Springs, Homasassa Springs, and the Lower Swannee Wildlife Refuge nearby. Shop in the unique stores or dine in one of the many fine restaurants nearby. Cedar Key is a mecca for seafood lovers. Enjoy all types of fresh fish, clams, oysters. But most of all come to enjoy the natural beauty of this tranquil "Old Florida" fishing village.
We have three festivals a year; The Cedar Key Art Festival in April, The Clam Festival in July and The Seafood Festival in October. You can also rent kayaks, boats, bikes, motor scooters and golf carts, to get around. Don't forget to bring your camera.
