This vacation home is located 12 miles North of Michigan’s favorite vacation destination, Traverse City and five miles South of the quaint Village of Suttons Bay. This location is one of the few places on the Leelanau Peninsula where there is a true Southern exposure-direct sun all day and the lights of Traverse City competing with the stars for your attention during the evening hours.
This vacation home is nestled in a mature wooded setting with plenty of elbow room for the kids to roam. Cross the street (35 miles per hour) and there is one hundred feet of white, sugar sand, private beach for you to enjoy. The water is perfect for young children, shallow and a sandy bottom. Swim and sunbathe during the day and each evening you will gather around the (beach) bonfire telling stories and watching shooting stars! A boat mooring for a small boat will be available for your use.
This charming year round home/cottage was beautifully remodeled in 2006 and features an open floor plan, oak flooring, bead board paneling, a fireplace and a 36-by-10-foot outside deck offering expansive Bay views. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bath with shower. The second bedroom has three twin beds and a double bed and sleeps five. The sleeper sofa in the family room can accommodate two more if needed for a grand total of eight people. The main bathroom has a bathtub and shower unit, and dryer for your use. Cable TV, a VCR and high-speed internet connection will be available.
We do not allow smoking within the residence nor are pets allowed inside at any time.
