This three bedroom, two bath home features new Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout, tiled remodeled bathrooms and a kitchen with high end stainless steel appliances including a Bosch gas cook top, and a double convection oven, perfect for Holiday dinners.
LIVING & DINING ROOM:
The formal dining room features a large table with seating for eight. A two sided fireplace separates the living room from the dining room. Enjoy TVs with cable/HBO/DVD/VCR, high speed internet access, video, DVD library, books and comfortable Restoration Hardware furnishings and even a Steinway piano.
KITCHEN & OUTDOOR DINING:
The large kitchen features an eat-in bar table and chairs. The large covered patio has a comfortable conversation area, dining table and hammocks. There is a barbeque for entertaining. NEARBY LA JOLLA ATTRACTIONS:
The California Classic is just a couple of blocks away from Busy Bee Bagels for breakfast, Su Casa for Mexican dining and the Mandarin House for fine Chinese cuisine. Many other world class restaurants are in the Village of La Jolla close by. SK Sanctuary, a luxury day spa is just steps away for massages, facials and more.
A 50 meter heated swimming pool,the Coggan Aquatic Center, is just a block away! There is also a bike trail with ocean views, great for dog walking, jogging and biking just a few blocks away. This trail extends to Ocean Front Walk for a 10 mile loop of scenic riding.

We rented the California Classic combined with the rear house for a graduation celebration. There were a total of 14 of us sharing the 2 homes. The 1st thing we noticed is that the house is really a HOME! We have rented places before that feel very sterile from the moment you walk in but this place felt like you were visiting an old friend. We found EVERYTHING we needed PLUS more. A wonderful collection of books to satisfy everyones desires, DVDs, Videos, and lots of great music. We loved that everything was at our fingertips. Kitchen fully equipped in both places. The backyard was cozy and enchanting including a height chart from the owners own family. Jacuzzi was warm and inviting and used quite a bit. We loved the nice big table great for family dinners. All the beds were comfortable with fresh clean linens, plenty of extra towels, pillows and heavy blankets for the cooler nights on the patio. Brand new appliances. Tons of extras in the house, sand toys, wagons, surfboards, boogies. Seriously, it was like your best friend loaning you their house for the weekend. Plenty of parking, close (walking distance) to downtown La Jolla and Pacific Beach just a 10 min drive. Legoland and Sea World within 20 minutes. We would stay here again and are already planning our next trip. Thank you for making our trip so special, warming and memorable by sharing your family home with us.

Thank you so much for the use of your CA Classic home. My children and I had a fantastic time and found the house to be in the perfect location, so close to the beach, Cafes and shops and great Mexican food! We enjoyed taking our dog for long walks on the beach to watch the sunsets and surfers. We had fantastic weather all week, low to mid 70's. We visited the Zoo, Sea World and the Wild Animal Park, as well as our favorite, the tide pools! It was great to get home to this beautiful place at the end of our busy days. This home fit our needs perfectly, from the child size wet suits, to the step stools in the bathrooms to the oversized garage for our SUV. We were very comfortable! Our dog loved the enced yard to keep him safe. Phoenix, AZ

The California Classic was the perfect place for our son's Graduation celebration from UCSD. Two generations enjoyed the large yard, comfortable patio with hummingbirds buzzing among the flowers, even the jacuzzi was a hit! Having the Caribbean Cottage next door for the Grandparents and Uncles and Aunts was ideal. We entertained the whole family with the two large kitchens. The dual convection oven in the Classic was a plus. The large dining room and fireplace was wonderful. What a fantastic library of books, DVDs, Videos for the kids. We felt completely at home here.

I stayed in this property from June 15-22, 2008. It was fabulous. It truly was very comfortable and close to everything. Everything you could possible need was furnished. I would highly recommend staying here. The owners were great to deal with.

This eligant house made me feel right at home during my long term stay. They had everything I needed to accommodate my family of 4. The landlords were very kind and helpfull. Thank you for a wonderfull vacation, I certainly will come back for another relaxing vacation. P.S. My family loved walking to the beach, then coming back and playing with our dog Baily in the huge yard. I recomend going to The Panakan for yummy snacks!
