60th Birthday Getaway for my Mom!

I wanted to take my Mom on a getaway for her 60th Birthday. After contemplating Vegas, or New York, or Seattle... We added up the potential costs associated with renting five hotel rooms for three nights plus all the food costs, and man did it add up. Los Gaviotas was a great place with everything you could possibly want. You hardly have to leave. We brought enough food and booze to feed an army and took my mom out for only one meal... Fresh lobster in Puerto Nuevo. It was amazing. The house itself was amazing. We must have sat out on the balcony over looking the water for hours on end, talking, reading, vegging, or even sleeping. At one point we saw dolphins and sea otters. The place is super secure, with not only front gate guards but a roving patrol man. I felt comfortable letting a thirty year old female family friend walk around by herself. By the way the house is stocked with every imaginable necessity. Barbecue, towels, blankets and sheets, dvd's, kitchen utensils, etc. We had a great time and would not hesitate to go back.

My family and I stayed at this property at the end of December 2010. The house is very nicely furnished and clean, nicely decorated and it has everything you would want to have at a home. We had a great experience with this home. It was wonderful working with Max, he always answered any question I had and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or relative. The location was great, we were able to find different places to visit and different restaurants in the are.

This Las Gaviotas home is amazing and perfect for a family getaway. Easy to find. 5 spotless rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful decor. Very comfortable living room, perfect for game nights. Great sized kitchen. Dinning room table to fit a Thanksgiving Day meal. Balcony with plenty of patio furniture and BBQ. Best part about this home though, is the panoramic view of the Pacific! Great beach and pool access. 3 minutes drive to the best lobster meal. Able to go for a jog around the complex and near the beach. Friendly security staff. Always feel safe too!

We had the best time here in this wonderful community and the home could have not been nicer. The surf was great and the people that we ran into on our long walks were so friendly! We felt so safe and had the best food and adventures. I would say that if your looking for a great home to stay in this one fits the bill. There's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but still come all together in the great room for family fun. Thank you for opening up your home to us. We'll see you again soon, Mary!

I don't normally write reviews but I had to on this one. We had the best time! We brought down 5 others with us and the home was so accommodating, everyone had their own space and it was so clean. The home was also so beautiful, someone is doing a great job with the decorating! Loved It!! The surf was great and I never felt so safe as I walked every morning. We even had a great time as we ventured out and about Baja! Thank you so much for opening up your home, everyone should think about coming down to the Jewel of the Baja! Mary Ann

"We HIGHLY recommend this house!" "Our whole family had an incredible time at #20. The boys went surfing and the young 'uns played on the beach, in the tidal pools, on the tennis court, but had the MOST FUN on the oversized balcony/deck! Gran spent most of her time snoozing at the pool or in her downstairs bedroom, which was great because we went to bed late every night and she said she couldn't even hear us, as we were upstairs. It's nice that there are so many bedrooms & bathrooms, and this place was CLEAN. (We don't like bugs.) Another thing we enjoyed was the roomy living room. We watched many movies and there was seating for everyone :) The booking procedure was good with no hassles. Max is a super-helpful dude, and gave me really easy driving directions. When you get here, ask about booking a massage. NICE! We HIGHLY recommend this house, and we'll be back!"
