This apartment had everything one wishes for a pleasant stay. It was comfortable, spacious and there was a garden where we enjoyed breakfast a couple of times. From this apartment it was very easy to travel to either downtown Vancouver or eastwards to the Rocky Mountains. The quiet, safe neighborhood was another plus and we will remember this place as a wonderful home on our first trip to beautiful British Columbia.Did you find this review helpful? We had a great and relaxing time in your house Teresa! Everything was perfect! Well decorated house, in a perfect location for all attractions in Vancouver. Thank you so much for all your tips and suggestions - a great help for people coming for the first time in Vancouver. We definitely will come and stay again in your house - it sure fills like home. The house is located close to restaurants and groceries stores as well as to the big mall. You are not going to miss anything. Just perfect! My stay was wonderful as all amenities were perfect in this warm, very clean and charming apartment in a home. I slept well at night (quiet neighbourhood) allowing me to work hard nearby and play at night. I even got a free Salsa dance lesson. My host was warmhearted and very considered. She thought of everything upfront and then left me alone to enjoy my stay. I highly recommend staying here.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We rented this property for 8 nights while visiting family in Coquitlam in early Sept. It is located in a very nice family neighborhood. The space was lovely, bright, neat & clean, nicely decorated, nice quality furnishings, well equipped with all the linens & towels we needed. It is a fairly large space with two well separated bedrooms, lots of storage to tuck luggage away, and lots of room to relax, have meals etc. There were 4 of us, so we used the fold out couch for a third bed. Teresa was a great host, - friendly & very accomodating when we made a request. She even welcomed us with freshly ground coffee for the first morning! The kitchen is very nice, has limited supplies, but the essentials you really need to make basic meals, toast, coffee etc. There is a stackable washer/dryer right in the kitchen that was awesome to have available as we brought the wrong mix of clothing and ended up needing to do a wash while we were there. - she provided the laundry soap so there was no need to run out & purchase a big bottle just to do one or two washes. It was such a convenient location - there was a beautiful walking trail just steps away! It is right in the heart of a neighborhood, close to a pool, not far from a mall & grocery store (drive distance), everything was really convenient! While the price initially sounded a bit high, as we researched hotels, we realized it was cheaper than renting two hotel rooms, & we were able to make most our meals there, allowing us to save lots of money on dining out. It was really an ideal place for our needs. My mom uses a cane - this place had easy access with no stairs, but the bathtub was really deep so it was a big step for her, but otherwise the apartment was easy for her to get around. We are already talking about going back in a year & staying here if it is available. We would certainly recommend itRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We appreciated very much our stay in Coquitlam during our short vacation in BC. We felt almost like home with the equipped kitchen. It was really easy to plan the meals with our children. The home is well located near the principal access to reached Vancouver and the other tourist attractions that we wanted to see. Being away 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver was appreciated as we could enjoyed the calmnest of the home. The home is clean and cozy. Stores are near by and easily accessible.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is a very cute accommodation. It has a sophisticated and modern decor. The hosts are very nice and helpful. The facilities are nicely laid out and easy to use. It has all the basic cooking supplies and excellent knives. It's a very relaxing location. The downstairs accommodation stayed a nice temperature. I enjoyed the heated tile floor in the bathroom. Bus stops are nearby. Access to the rental is convenient. There was some extra noise as it does not have sound proofing from the main house, but not terrible. I would stay here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

I spend a lot of time in Vancouver for business. I usually stay in Vancouver's downtown but during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics it was next to impossible to find a place downtown. I found Teresa's offer on the internet and after a quick inspection I decided to stay with her for 12 days. It is a typical, quiet suburban place. It is at a cul-de-sac of a small street and as a result there is practically no traffic here. The apartment was newly renovated and smelled fresh. The whole place has a "homey" feeling and I especially liked the kitchen. I had to walk 10 minutes to the railway station to get the train to downtown Vancouver but I was happy to be away from the hassle and bassel of the big city, especially that I was at my place of work in a little over half an hour from the time of leaving home. The morning and afternoon commuter trains go fast from Coquitlam to downtown Vancouver and back without any stops in between. moreRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
