  It was definitely a great idea to pick this flat. Because we have a little kid, we spent more time in the flat then we would have spent normally. That's why, we were keen on having a nice location which would make us feel at home. Azure 1 was an excellent choice. It was very tastefully decorated and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped, obviously, the kind owners of the flat thought of many details which made our stay at Azure a very memorable one. Also the location of Azure is very central; vivid but still quiet at nights. It is close to everywhere, this is a very important aspect for a big city like istanbul. We also felt safe in the neighbourhood. We already decided to book this flat also for our next stay in istanbul.

  This apartment is wonderful, clean and in a quiet area close to everything. Our family stayed in the apartment for four night and found the place very comfortable. We would recommend this rental to anyone with impeccable taste and height standards. Owner/manager was very easy to work with and very helpful. Would rent again if in Istanbul.

  Where to start?? Arrived at the apartment shortly before midnight. Serdal met us there, showed us around, then took us to a market so we could get some supplies and walked us back to the apartment. At midnight! Who does that? Way 'above and beyond' in my book. He also gave us his cell # so we could call him with any questions etc. Which we did and he always answered and was extremely informative. The apartment itself is fabulous. Very clean, tastefully decorated (not the usual 3 legged chairs and flowery offerings you usually find in rentals) and whats more really comfortable. Large beds, huge sofa etc. Our party had 2 couples and one small child and we had ample space and privacy. It was well equipped (hairdryer, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, cooking oil, spices etc). That's a big plus for me because its a big pain to have to go out and buy all that stuff, lug it home etc. Only thing it could do with is a freezer. The fridge is huge but we use a lot of ice in drinks so we had to buy ice every day instead. The location is amazing. Its on a really quiet street but literally one block (steep) away is a little 'hub' of bustling shops, cafe's, bars, restaurants etc. There are two supermarkets right there also so you can stock up on whatever you need. We didn't have one bad meal in that area. Very nice and very reasonably priced. Alcohol is expensive but you know that going in. Going in that direction from the apartment its about a 10-15 (interesting, not boring) minute walk to Taxim Square and the beginning of Istiklal caddesi. (one of the worlds great streets). In the other direction from the apartment you have a 10-15 minute (very steep) walk to the tram (which is by far the best way to get around). The tram drops you off at all the sightseeing places (Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosk, Grand Bazaar etc etc). The tram really is easy and everything is written in English. Obviously try and avoid rush hour though. These guys arranged airport transfers also which were great. Think that's it. Really can't say enough nice things. We travel a lot and haven't used a hotel in about 6 years. (Why would you confine yourself to one room, one bathroom and no kitchen?). The people at CAST were about as good as it gets and the apartment really was fantastic. Will definitely be staying there again.

  My friends and I (all young professionals in our 20s and 30s) had a great time at this apartment. It was spotless and extremely comfortable. Gary was great to deal with before we arrived and the on-site management was so accomodating. We did have a little mix-up about our arrival time, but luckily we had the phone number of the Cast Istanbul office and got let in within ten minutes. The kitchen was fully stocked and the apartment even came with a book that helped us figure out how to work the washer and dryer (since all the buttons were labelled in Turkish!). Highly recommend this place!!! Also Cihangir is a great neighborhood with lots of cute cafes and restaurants. It's also really close to the Istanbul Modern, which was one of our favorite places to visit.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

  I recommended to people who have children, we enjoyed our stay at Azur 1, it’s very clean, quiet and very close to everything (Restaurants, bakery, grocery), just 10 minutes walking to Taksim square. I would definitely suggest it to all our friends, for sure it will be our choice during our next visit to Istanbul!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+.

  I nearly cancelled my stay when I discovered that the apartment does not have air conditioning...well, true to their fantastic service, the owner wrote back immediately and promised a unit by the time I arrive..They installed one, I came and glad I did! The apartment was lovely with fantastic facilities. I am a regular apartment renter and have been doing so for the last 20 years and I will have to say that Azure 1 rates as my top 10. The apartment is spacious and I love the fact that the bedrooms are separated from the living room and kitchen which is down the basement floor. The patio outside is lovingly scented with jasmine trees and very private. My only comment is to maybe have a deck chair and table outside..other than that..its perfect!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  Dieses Apartment hat uns tatsächlich schlicht überrascht. Man ist ja einiges gewöhnt, vor allem Unterschiede in Fotos und Realität, aber hier stimmte einfach alles! Das Apartment ist ruhig/SAUBER/schön, ultragemütlich, die Betten, die Couch, die Einrichtung! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man merkt richtig, das auf Hochwertigkeit geachet wurde. Alles in allem: wir können es warmherzig empfehlen udn würden wiederkommen! Danke an die Agentur, die so hilfreich war!
