Silverstrand Beach in Oxnard is world renowned for it's great surf, dolphin and whale watching, scuba diving in the Channel Islands, windsurfing, kayaking, jet-skiing et al! The Channel Islands are a National Park, with great hiking and eco tours. Cities of Ventura and Santa Barbara are close by... and a stunning southward drive down world famous Pacific Coast Highway will put you in Los Angeles in 45 minutes!
This 1923 beach house features hardwood floors throughout, large master bedroom with attached large master bath and fireplace INSIDE bedroom... VERY romantic and cozy. Large kitchen with ALL amenities provided... office area with computer and DSL.
Great restaurants 10 minutes away, movie theatres, and the huge Camarillo Outlet mall is 20 minutes South on the 101 freeway with EVERYTHING you could possibly want to shop for!

All in all, it is a Paradise on the beach. Quiet and charming village... but everything you need to keep the whole family happy, including a Starbucks, five minutes away!
California is known worldwide for it's outstanding surf, fun and beaches... but BOY are they crowded everywhere else. Here, in Oxnard, may be the only place in California where you can enjoy the natural beauty without traffic!

I love the beach...and this is safe and clean water to swim in. I actually swim and body surf in this water all the time. And it's chilly...but lovely

Privacy...a great back yard. very nice and quiet neighborhood...no through traffic Secrectly HUGE SURFER beach...which is great fun!

I own and mostly manage this property....which is a half block from the sand. This listing would appeal to people who are looking for a place to stay that is clean, and quiet. I am little by little restoring/improving the original 1920 cottage...re did ALL ht electricity and added central heating this year.
