Condo was just the right size & the view was great! Only problem was the swipe cards did not work. We called the alternate # Nancy left us but our call was not returned. Went to the Compass Cove main desk & they were nice to reset the cards but every day we had to go back & have them reset. The weather, beach and golfing was great!

Owner response:We apologize for the inconvenience with the swipe cards. Thankfully these cards were not needed to access the condo. The condo lock system is a pushbutton code system that requires no keys or cards. The swipe cards are used for common spaces around the resort, and the problem you had has been fixed. We are really happy that you had a great week at the Compass Cove and were able to enjoy our home away from home!

March Break getaway

Great stay for a week in March. Very clean, well -equipped , and fantastic view on the 14 th floor. The unit is close to the elevators so at time you can hear a bit of hallway noise. Nancy was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had and we received our security deposit back in a timely manner. Great area of MB , in the south end and not far from Myrtle Beach State Park. Very close drive to mini-golf, par 3 golf and grocery shopping. The resort complex itself has lots of pools both indoor and outdoor. Only complaint is that the elevators are very slow and parking can be tight. Overall great stay particularly for families with kids of all ages .

We have been here twice, and both times we have been very pleased with the stay. Only problem is there was not very many cooking pans. The oven doesn't have the temp's labeled on it, so it was hard to see what the temp was. Everything else we have always been pleased with the stay. HOPE YOU HAVE FUN(:

Great condo-We had a blast staying at your place. The only issue is the TV in the bedroom, remote didn't work and you had to stick your finger inside the front of the TV to power the TV on. Great ocean view. We will be back to your condo. You guys where very helpful!!!

Great family resort with lots of water activities-pools, hot tubs, kiddie pools and lazy rivers.The condo was clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and responded to questions promptly. I highly recommend this resort for families.

Quick weekend Getaway

We decided to go for a last minute long weekend away. Nancy & Brent were very nice to deal with. We loved Myrtle Beach; however we didn't know it was Black Bike Week. We found out from the locals that it's always Memorial Day weekend. The condo was nice and had a great view of the beach. The condo included a nice kitchen (although we never used it), big bedroom and living room. The bathroom does have a hairdryer in it on the wall. Compass Cove was very busy and loud during this weekend. It did quite down on Monday the 30th, after the bikers had left. Apparently many businesses put up renovations signs to keep the bikers out for the weekend. The streets were filled with cops on patrol. The one thing we would have done differently was not go during this weekend. While in the area we visited many nice sites including one we loved called Broadway on the Beach; compared to (it's like Disney Village). There were many nice shops and restaraunts as well as nice clubs too. We loved the beach; it's simply beautiful. Compass Cove has a nice restaraunt with a very nice buffet breakfast. Please know that at the beach; beach chairs/umbrella's are additional $30.00 and decrease by the day. The boardwalk was nice to walk around in the evening. We would deffinately plan to come back to Myrtle beach. Thank you Nancy and Brent.

Excellent View, Excellent Value

This resort is ideally located and has an awesome view of the ocean. We were pleased with the condo itself, and Brent and Nancy were wonderful to work with. I came with 3 teenagers and we all had a great time. We especially liked the choice of pools, complimentary lounge chairs, dining options, free parking and security features. The elevator was slow, being on the 14th floor, but we got used to it. All in all we would definitely come back to Compass Cove and rent from Brent and Nancy again.

The pictures accurately reflect the condo and all the amenities at compass Cove resort. The view of the ocean in 82717 is excellent .Everyone working at the condo were most helpful and friendly, they made you feel they were glad to have you their and would do any thing to make your stay pleasant. The condo was very clean and had every thing advertised.LOCATION LOCATION wonderful, you did not feel like you were running the roads to get were you wanted to go as it was all near by.The Monnin's were so helpful about everything a real pleasure to work with.

Sandra, we loved staying at your condo at compass cove. The first thing I noticed entering the condo was the view!!...it was all worth the money. My 2 kids aged 7 and 4 had so much fun at compass cove, playing shuffle board, playing in the various pools and lazy river. The room was clean and well-maintained and was sufficient for a family of four. Lot's of good restaurants nearby and fun activities for kids like mini golf, amusement park etc. We are already looking forward to our stay at Myrtle beach for next summer.

My friends and I all had a reunion at the Compass Cove rental for a week in October. The condo had a great oceanfront view and the resort was fantastic. 22 on site swimming pools, shuffle board, tiki hut, 2 restraunts, and so much more. We bought grociers and did alot of cooking and playing games. The view is so wonderful and we even saw a school of dolphins and went shelling everyday. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay at Compass Cove and rent through Sandra. It was a very relaxing and refreshing week at the beach.

We recently stayed in the condo and enjoyed both the amenities of the room and the resort. We traveled to Myrtle Beach with our two young children who enjoyed the lovely beach and all of the pools and lazy rivers. Sandra was very helpful in helping us make arrangements for our stay. We just stayed at the compass cove condo Sandra has and it was wonderful! The resort is GREAT for any age of kids. We had a 13, 8, 3, and 6 month old and it was wonderful. The condo we were in was very nice and clean and was right off the elevators so no long walks which was GREAT! The view from the balcony is awesome. Last but not least Sandra is very good to rent from, she made everything very easy and pleasurable!I would highly recommend this condo and renting from her. Thanks Sandra for helping in my family's wonderful myrtle beach vacation, we look forward to coming again!

We want to say Hats Off to Sandra. She is so wonderful to work with and we couldn't have been more please working with her and with the Condo at the Compass Cove. The Condo was imaculate. The Direct Ocean view was great. We sat every morning having our coffee and take pictures of the parashuters and people on the beach. The sunset skies were wonderful. The pools were exceptional and clean. We can not thank Sandra Deagnan for going the extra miles for us. We would diffently want to make the Compass Cove our hide away from home and rent from Ms. Deagnan again and again. Of all the people we ever rented from over the years, in other places she made a believer out of us that we now choose Myrtle Beach as our home away from home. Renting from Sandra Deagnan will spoil you as it has us. We have rented twice now from Sandra, once at the Compass Cove and once at the Sea Watch with our children. and both times we felt like we were King and Queens. This rental was great. The condo was very nice, plenty of room for our family. The hotel was fabulous, great pools and activities, especially for children! Very easy access to the beautiful beach and a short walk to the pier. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay here again. Also, Sandra is super nice to rent from. Thanks!

I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to any family - especially with children. We rarely left Compass Cove as there was so much to do on the resort property. Simply going from the beach to the 22 pools kept the kids busy thus making the trip economical. Compass Cove was one of the nicer resorts on the beach. The condo was clean and well maintained with ample sleeping room for 6. The staff was courteous and helpful. I wish I could bottle the balcony view and that neverending ocean breeze. We will definitely return. Excellent experience!

LOVED this rental!!!Ran out of time before we could try out every pool, hot tub and lazyman river.Between the pools,the ocean and the gym, we were always on the go. Condo was modern, super clean, well equipped and had an awesome ocean view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elevators worked fine...no idea what some Compass Cove reviews were talking about.Great food and service in the 2nd floor Grill, will definitely be back and have already raved about it to everyone we know!! THANK YOU!!!!

Can not recommend this unit, Compass Cove and in particular the owner, highly enough!! Exactly as pictured, immaculate and with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Great facilities, friendly staff. Ignore any negative ratings..this place was great!! Sandra was a lifesaver when we needed to delay our departure...a total pleasure to deal with. Great view, not noisy, convenient. Loved the pools, gym and restaurant. Can't begin to say enough.

This Compass Cove Rental was perfect for our family with five year old twins. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We loved all of the pools and fun things to do! We would consider renting again if the time permits.

This condo was great. It was clean and comfortable. The ocean view balcony was wonderful. It was also nice that the bedroom had a door to separate the room from the rest of the condo, so when my kids were asleep, we didn't have to worry about waking them up. The beach was fantastic! Compass Cove has a lot of pools, especially for kids. Would stay here again with no problem. Sandra made the rental process very easy and we had no problems. First trip to MB and cannot wait to go again next year.

We vacationed in Myrtle Beach at Compass Cove during the week of August 7th. This was our first trip to MB, and a first for us to book online, directly with an owner of a property. The unit is like being home, away from home. It's very well appointed, and extremely clean - which is a must for me. Our whole experience dealing with Ms. Degnan and the staff at Compass Cove was very positive. I do hope whenever we plan our vacation for next year, one of her units will be available.

I loved Myrtle Beach. It was my first time there and I will be returning again! We stayed in the condo the week of June 24th. There were 8 of us girls all around 24 that stayed in the condo and we had a blast. It was very clean and very nice. The view was great and it was so nice being able to use all of compass coves amenities. We were big fans of the lazy rivers. Very relaxing! The keypad was a great feature especially with eight people. When I go back I will definately stay here again. Sandra was great to work with and made things very easy.

We stayed in this condo the week of June 23rd. We loved it! Compass Cove is absolutely gorgeous! The staff there were very pleasant; the condo was completely renovated. The pools, hot tubs, etc are all well kept. The Tiki Bar provides excellent food and service at a competitive price. Our experience was 110% positive! This was our third trip to Myrtle Beach, and we plan to return every year. Myrtle Beach has something for everyone - miniature golf courses, great shopping, beautiful beaches, teen activities...you name it!

We stayed at the Compass Cove condo the first week of June. It was a lot of fun. It seemed like we were in the perfect place. Things weren't too wild on the streets in front of the hotel but we were close enough that we could walk to the more crowded areas if we wanted to. Also, the rooms were very clean and the hotel employees were very helpfull and nice.

My friends and I were guest at Compass Cove in late May, we enjoed our stay there tremendously. The condos are very accomodating, considering our weather we were always able to find something to do in our condo, in terms of swimming in a pool jacuzzi or sauna. I would definitely recommend coming to Compass Cove for a relaxing vacation.

We were guests here in February. OUTSTANDING! We sat on the balcony every morning drinking our coffee and watching as people rode horses down the beach, walked their dogs or just stolled around looking for seashells. The condo was so nice! The beds are extremely comfortable. Everything was just really nice. Very, Very Clean and well kept. Can't wait to go back.
