Grand Moulin Pomport is a beautiful country house full of character and charm, whilst offering every modern convenience you could wish for on holiday. Created for outdoor living, a large vine covered dining terrace opens from the kitchen with stunning views over the gardens, pool area, woodland and meadows, a perfect place to enjoy long summer evenings and stunning sunsets.
There are seven bedrooms, many with ensuites, a large living room, dining room, kitchen and mezzanine study area. Grand Moulin is full of exposed beams, stonework and antiques, set in its own valley with 32 acres of land, a truly tranquil setting.
Outdoors at Grand Moulin. This beautifully converted watermill is an absolute gem for outdoor living. Approached by 400 meters driveway flanked by trees and its own vines, the grounds of Grand Moulin are out of this world!
The stunning vine covered dining terrace opens from the kitchen with views over the gardens and pool. There is a large BBQ area set slightly higher than the terrace. The 10m x 5m pool is heated and ideal for toe-dippers with roman steps at the entrance. The pool has a stone surround and large lawned area where there are sunloungers, chairs and tables.
It is completely sheltered and private; an awesome suntrap. The timbered poolhouse is set behind the pool in a stunning Perigourdine outbuilding with another loo and shower. The pool is alarmed for safety and complies with recent legislation.
If you can tear yourself away from the poolside, the gardens are stunning, beautiful walks surround the property with meandering streams and an abundance of wildlife and fauna. Past the swimming pool, there are more meadows and a children’s play area with swings.
