Footprints in the Sand, designed and decorated for our family, has sweeping ocean and wildlife views from every room! This spacious Showcase Home sits across from the Atlantic Ocean!
All you have to pack is your personal items....we provide the rest. Your weekly rental includes our golf cart, bikes for all ages, beach chairs, beach towels, beach tote, upgraded linens and toiletries. Up to four amenity cards are also included with your weekly rental.
Author, Pat Conroy’s wife/author, Cassandra King, and her "Same Sweet Girls" group have stayed in our home several times and loved it!

You don't have to walk thru dunes or on a boardwalk...just step onto the beach! Don't be fooled by very crowded "center island" locations,with no room to spread out...our beach access provides privacy with 24/7 beach!
- Front of our home boasts expansive ocean views, rear of house has panoramic overlooks of the five star "Ocean Point" golf course! You get the best of both worlds....
- Balconies off all bedrooms with huge decks on front and back of house. Every bdrm has an ocean view and it's own bath! Enjoy sunrise, sunsets or just sun bathing!
- I designed and built our home for our own family to use for the holidays so the home is designed with an exceptional floor plan with Master on main. Huge Master bath and walk-in closet! Master has been upgraded with custom drapes, posturpedic bedding, 400 thread count sheets, new hypo- allergentic pillows,flat screen t.v. and seamless tile shower for total luxurious comfort! The home has also been upgraded with hotel quality linens & towels.
- First floor offers an inviting open plan perfect for family gatherings...with kitchen overlooking dining room and family room. Dining area opens onto back deck overlooking the golf course! Master is on the main floor, is handicap accessible and boasts an expansive bath with ocean views.
- Family room, has 20'ceilings with enormous 2-story bay windows that look out to the 5-star "Ocean Point" golf course, lagoon and amazing wildlife!
- No matter where you are on the first floor, you can be a part of the conversation while enjoying the ocean breeze and smelling the Island's scent!
- Lots of places to retreat for quiet moments and the kids can enjoy our Game Room equipped with a foosball table, T.V./DVD with hook ups for Play Station, X-box etc and a huge chalk board wall for the little ones to draw their masterpieces!
- Create amazing meals while seeing, smelling and hearing the ocean through the large windows in the kitchen. Kitchen is well-equipped with double ovens, lots of counter space and a new stainless french door refrigerator!
- Enjoy meals cooked on the Weber grill and served outdoors on the large glass table (seats 6-8)while overlooking the 8th fairway and wildlife!
- Upstairs has four comfy bedrooms, each with a uniquely appointed beach decor!
- Two bedrooms face the ocean each with Queen beds and jack and jill baths. One of the Queen bedrooms has an additional twin bed. Both rooms open to the upper front deck looking onto the Atlantic Ocean! A queen high quality air mattress is available as well.
- The other two bedrooms view the golf course and have two twins in each room along w/ jack and jill baths and private balconies to admire the ocean as well! We manage our home like an upscale hotel furnishing all the baths with toiletries, hotel quality towels & linens for total pampering! Our property manager lives on the Island to ensure everything runs smoothly during your vacation.
"Footprints in the Sand" is a pristine home that is exceptionally decorated with a cozy beach flair and has been included in Fripp Island Resort’s "Tour of Homes".
Handicap-friendly. Your favorite CD's will resonate from our intercom/music/CD system equipped with AM/FM Stereo and 6 track CD player, playing music throughout the home and on the outside deck. Wi-Fi also available and the yard is perfect for croquet, badminton or volley ball and the kids love to roller blade and ride bikes in our circular driveway too! One of our recent guests even had her bridal reception in the backyard overlooking the golf course and the sunset!

We went with another family for our summer vacation. The house easily fit 2 families of 4. It is light, open, clean, and very cheery. Our friend is a gourmet chef and was thrilled with the huge updated kitchen. The bedrooms were very comfortable as well. The island is extremely child friendly. Our children loved riding everywhere on golf carts, they went to camp one day at Camp Fripp, and they enjoyed seeing deer everywhere we went including the back yard. The island is also bicycle friendly. The beach is huge, and very close by. We all agreed this was the best summer vacation ever!!!

We've never been to South Carolina beaches before and now can't imagine going anywhere else. Would have to agree with the other comments regarding the owner Pat and the caretaker Hutch. They are both so hospitable and organized that they take care of all the details so you are truly on a worry free vacation. The house was great with plenty of light and beautiful views whether your on the front of back deck. Each room has great views, ample space and nicely decorated. We loved the beach, the beautiful sand dunes, the golf cart rides around the Island, the bike rides, bocce ball games on the beach, pool hopping to the many pools on the Island and the two golf courses are great. We'd have appetizers on the upstairs deck overlooking the ocean then grill on the back deck and watch the deer and wait for alligator splashings. All the beaches were very clean and not crowded at all however the beach in front on this house is spectacular - so peaceful and picturesque. We took a boat ride to another little island and saw fresh turtle nestings, we biked to Hunting Island and enjoyed the beautiful sea landscapes, enjoyed 2 hours walks from tip to top each morning...the list could go on and on. Very family friendly Island and house. Great for families and friends - we have many happy memories!

The owners have provided everything one could want in a beach house including toys for the beach. Just bring food, clothes and sunscreen. The house will be bright even on a cloudy day with many windows and views of the ocean and golf course. The porches are fantastic. The owners and caretaker both contacted us to be sure that we were settling in. You will be pleased if you select Footprints at Fripp for your vacation. There's plenty of room for a large group to gather and places to be alone and quiet. And it's handicapped accessible. May 2011

We loved, loved the house. It is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need for cooking and entertaining a large crowd. The gameroom was perfect for our teenage grandsons and our little grandaughters loved riding their bikes on the quiet street. The beach access was only a few houses down and was a wonderful place for walking and flying kites. We have stayed in a lot of houses from Tybee to Pawley's Island and have never been treated with such care and concern for our vacation. The owner called after we arrived to make sure that we had everything we needed and to ask if we were enjoying the house. The battery on the golf cart was going bad. We called the house manager and he was there immediately to replace it. Now I call that service!

This was our third time to Fripp. This was by far the best house we have stayed at. Pat and Hutch are awesome. By far Pat is the most attentive owner we've had the pleasure to know. The house was perfect for 6 adults and 4 kids. By far the cleanst house we've ever vacationed at. Emaculate!! Very nice to have a golf cart included. I've completely enjoyed my stay. The most relaxing in a long time. Dr. Greene. 10/2/10-10-9/10.

The owner was very helpful. She provided us with any phone numbers we might need during our stay and called within 24 hours of our arrival to make sure we found the house in good condition and everything in working order. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed the upper front porch--a nice place to congregate in the evening and enjoy the ocean breeze. We all enjoyed watching the deer who came into the yard on a daily basis. A treat for the adults as well as the children.

The house had everything our party of six needed on our five day stay at Fripp. The house is very accommodating we also found everything to be so convenient. The house is so close to the beach that we could make trips throughout the day on the golf cart or walk and not miss out on anything. The booking process was made easy by Pat, she is great to work with. The questions I sent via email were all responded to within a couple of hours. I highly recommend this house.

What a delightful time we (5 couples) had during a 5 night stay at Footprints.
