Colonial Lake Townhouse is an 1100 square foot residence located in the sought after "South of Broad" neighborhood and adjacent to beautiful Colonial Lake in Downtown Charleston’s Historic District. This spectacular location offers privacy from the hectic tourist areas of the city but easy walking distance proximity to Charleston's finest museums, restaurants, and historic homes. This is a wonderful way to experience the city as a Charlestonian does. Parking is very easy with two reserved off street spaces.
The Colonial Lake Townhouse is a clean, comfortable two bedroom, one and one half bath, fully-equipped residence with a full kitchen, living room and dining room. It has hardwood floors with quality handmade carpets and premium bedding with cotton linens. It offers a safe, quiet, and comfortable place to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing or visiting one of the area beaches. There are numerous golf courses available including those on nearby Kiawah Island and The Wild Dunes Resort. There are several full-service day spas very close by.
This Historic District location situates guests in the heart of the largest collection of both preserved and restored historic homes in America. Being that most homes here with few exceptions are quite old, there is rarely perfection. If you are seeking a "new home" experience, this home would not be the right choice for you. Why the Owner Chose Charleston
We chose this location for the immediate access to the nicest ammenties Charleston has to offer and the great neighborhood feel. We love having beautiful Colonial Lake just accross the street as well as a city park with lighted tennis courts. We particularly liked this townhouse because it was originally a three bedroom unit that was converted to a two bedroom configuration when it was rennovated so the master bedroom is quite large with big closets. Having resided in this townhouse we know first hand how well the space lives.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
Walking and biking in the neighborhood, walking to wonderful food markets, shopping, great restaurants, the harborfront and the marina. Enjoying the incredible sense of history in this neighborhood and the entire city. The gardens in this community are amazing.

Great Home Base for Family with Young Child

My husband and I stayed here with our two year old during the last week of April. It was perfect. The townhouse had everything we needed and it truly felt like a home away from home. It is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood, but the restaurants and attractions are all within walking distance. It was incredibly peaceful with plenty of space for an active child. Chareslton is an amazing place and we look forward to returning (and staying here) soon!

The townhouse was lovely. It was very clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely helpful and accomodating to deal with. The location is fabulous. I would recommend this property to Charleston bound travelers without exception.

We really enjoyed our stay at the townhouse. It was just a short walk or bike ride to shopping and restaurants. The owners were very easy to work with and responded quickly to my emails. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was a wonderful experience.

This townhouse was the perfect place to stay during our Charleston vacation, much more comfortable than a hotel room at the end of the day. The parking spots were a big plus. It is in a lovely residential neighborhood, and all the peninsula sites are quite walkable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We just returned from our stay at the Colonial Lake Townhouse. Our entire experience was terrific from communications at the time of rental until our return home. The townhouse was immaculate...cleaner than many hotels we've stayed in...and had a homey feel. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again or lease from this owner again. A wonderful experience!

This is a great location! Just down the street from some of the best restaurants in the country. I love this place. It really has the charm of the south. Southern hospitality rings true when ever I stay at this home away from home! Clean,quiet and comfrotable! Thanks to the Evan's Family!
