Family Reunion 2011

Guest: Shawn (Westminster, CO)
Date of Stay: 08/12/11 Review Submitted: 08/23/11

We rented the entire Eagle Nest Lodge and the cottage next door to accommodate 32 people. This home was amazing and one we would rent again for a large gathering, or one of the suites for the two of us. It has all of the amenities we expected and more. We slept 26 people comfortably and love the 3 suites downstairs for folks looking for a little privacy (one guest had a baby, and 4 were older couples). The backyard, grill, hot tub, game room for kids and ability to seat 26 made this home extra special. Located 2 blocks from main street and 1 block from a grocery store, the location could not be more perfect. The home was very clean, had plenty of refrigerator space, two ovens and great gathering areas. Aside from the physical lodging, the owner was wonderful to work with. This was a last minute rental as our previous rental was double booked. Finding a place for 32 people 4 weeks before the event had me pretty stressed, but Sharon was amazing in meeting our needs. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the entire property for a large gathering, or the suites / cottage for smaller groups.

Owner response:I was pleased to see how this guest viewed the 3 individual suites as a definite plus. So many of the inquiries I receive are a bit uneasy as to how the suites function as part of the entire lodge rental. This write up shows how to utilize them for small groups within the larger group and that they enhance rather than detract from the "whole group" experience!!!

Date of Stay: 03/17/11 Review Submitted: 03/23/11

We had 21 people in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Location was awesome, we walked everywhere. Not only close to shopping and eating places but the slopes as well. I highly recommend this house.

Very Nice Experience

Guest: Nebraska Group (Stromsburg, NE)
Date of Stay: 03/17/11 Review Submitted: 03/21/11

We had a group of 6 families (21 people) stay in the Main and Upper level. 6 bedrooms,6 baths, large well stocked kitchen/dining area and two sitting areas proved to be enough room for everyone. Close walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store, and ski lifts was appreciated by all. Sharon was great to work with and answered all questions promptly. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved Eagles Nest Lodge!

Guest: Lindsey (Chicago, IL)
Date of Stay: 02/18/11 Review Submitted: 02/24/11

A group of 12 of us (skiers and non skiers) rented the top portion of Eagle's Nest and we had more than enough room. The location is excellent for walking into town, and also walking to access the lifts at Peak 9. The hot tub overlooks Peak 8 runs and is a nice post skiing activity! I definitely recommend staying here if you have a larger group. The owner (Sharon) is very easy to work with and very accomodating.

Eaglesnest Lodge – a great vacation and business meeting place

Guest: KPA (Lafayette, CO)
Date of Stay: 01/28/11 Review Submitted: 02/15/11

It is a spacious and beautiful house, suitable for business meetings with several individual suites where guests can find some private time. The house furnishing supports large group meeting’s needs and has a nice recreation area. During the negotiations, the owner was very informative, responsive, and accommodating. It was a very positive experience and the company plans to hold meetings there in the future.

Perfect Rental for Large Group

Guest: John (Hiawatha, IA)
Date of Stay: 02/09/11 Review Submitted: 02/14/11

We had 30 people in our group and we rented both the house and the cottage. It worked out perfectly for us. We had plenty of room and it was extremely convenient being only 1 block from a grocery store, 2 blocks from main street, and literally feet away from a bus pick stop to get up to the lifts. I would strongly recommend this rental to anyone that is looking for a place to hold a large group.

Perfect for large family gatherings

Guest: Leigh Ann (Lone Tree)
Date of Stay: 12/18/10 Review Submitted: 01/23/11

Our group of 14 fit perfectly in the top two floors, with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. We had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-end appliances. There was room for our entire group to sit at the dining tables. The location is extremely convenient. Once we arrived, we hardly had to use our cars to get around since the busstop is essentially across the street. There's ski storage on the main floor which as convenient to keep all our equipment. We would definitly go back.

Wonderful Place

Guest: Tony (Aurora, CO)
Date of Stay: 12/23/10 Review Submitted: 01/12/11

We had three families (total 12) stay at the main and the upper floor. The place exceeded everyone's expectation. The place had 6 bedrooms and more than enough beds, and plenty of bathrooms, etc. Kids played upstairs and adults stayed down stairs. The setting was perfect. The hottub was great too. Great location with just block away from a grocery store and the Main Street. A great place for multiple families to stay or a reunion type gatherings. Oh, I loved the twin dining room tables that sits uh... 20+ people, I think. Plenty of space for everyone to sit and have dinner together. Thanks Sharon for sharing your place with us.

Spacious and Comfortable Cabin, Close to Main Street

Guest: Carrie (St. Louis, Missouri)
Date of Stay: 08/07/10 Review Submitted: 08/17/10

The Eaglesnest Lodge was the perfect setting for our family reunion and comfortably housed 25 of us for a week. It was so convenient to be just two blocks from Main Street Breckenridge, with a little grocery store and the post office just a block away. The house was clean, well-maintained, and actually exceeded our expectations in terms of its size. We did much of our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well-stocked and the appliances to work well. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the barbecue grill. The property manager was very accessible by phone and e-mail to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful mountain town, especially if you have a large group you would like to accomodate under one roof. My family and I look forward to going back!
