This luxury, two-story 4,500 square-foot Villa (2800 under roof & 1700 terraces) in gated Montecristo Estates. This entire villa is yours! Three direct terrace-access ocean view bedrooms, three and-a-half baths, five flat-panel TVs! Sleeps 10 people comfortably.
Enter your marbled floored Villa through a private stone courtyard with bubbling fountain to the first level that includes a full kitchen and dining room, living room with fireplace, and master bedroom suite with king bed, large walk-in closet, private bath, and Jacuzzi. From here you proceed onto your terrace with partially-shaded dining area, gas BBQ, lounge chairs, and outdoor hot tub. The lower level is complete with two junior suites (one with king bed; one with two queen beds), and a family room with queen sofa and entertainment center(DVD/CD/TV) and with free high-speed Internet computer and WiFi. Each suite has direct access to a large terrace with private infinity pool and lounge chairs.
This time of year, your mornings start with beautiful sunrises and views of local fishing boats heading out for the catch of the day. Also, whales can frequently be seen from your terrace breaching as they feed and raise their young. Your daylight ends with spectacular Pacific Ocean sunsets, just in time to hit the fun and festive nightlife 10 minutes away in downtown Cabo.

Why the Owner Chose Montecristo Estates
We have been coming to Cabo since the mid-70's and love coming here to enjoy the beautiful weather, whale watching, sailing, snorkeling, sunset cruises, fishing, hiking, golfing and entertainment. We wanted both the convenience and amenities of a 5-star Resort and a quiet retreat where we could enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean, relax in our own pool and be by ourselves or with friends and family once retired. Our Montecristo villa at Pueblo Bonito Resort gives us all these and more. We(& our guests) have free use of the other three Pueblo Bonito sister resort facilities in Cabo with charging privileges directly to our Villa.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
In 2004 only two Montecristo Estates top row villas were being built to nestle in the mountainous ridge above the main Resort. We were lucky to have the "pick-of-the-litter" and chose Villa #11 which would be the most private villa on the end of the row, at absolutely the highest point in the Estates/Resort including a KILLER panoramic view of the Sea of Cortez, Pacific Ocean & the entire Resort. Downtown Cabo is 10-mins by car. Free Resort shuttles take you anywhere within the Resort and to downtown Cabo. Villa includes daily maid & personal concierge services, 24/7 Medical services & Daily kid activities.
Our goal is to answer questions & provide whatever assistance to our guests to make their stay at our villa a pleasant & memorable experience. Eastbound from downtown stay in rt. lane 0.1mi on HWY 1. Take new off ramp up and over HWY I.You can see Walmart Supercenter/Sam's Club from Hwy 1.
Eastbound from downtown approx 1.5mi to first traffic light(get onto frontage via "slip-lanes" off Hwy 1). Costco visible on north side of Hwy 1 before arriving in Cabo.
Favorite LOCAL pub w/great food @ reasonable prices and great view of the Cabo waterfront. Closed either Mon or Tues. Take rt. first street after Costco @ power station, up hill 500ft.
TS(north Hwy 19) is "laid-back" active artist community & restored famous Hotel California w/ great atmosphere & food. "Shut-up Frank's Pub",ex-pats hangout & cheap prices.
Favorite Thurs. evening Art-Walk in SJDC. Galleries(especially Amber Gallery) & artisan shops open 'til 9pm. Good restaurants. Baja Brewing (w/Microbrews). O'Liva next to TELMEX Offices/Tall Tower.
Access PLC from downtown old SJDC. Consider combining w/ Thurs. Art-Walk. Fishing trips @ PLC Marina less expensive than Cabo's.
Eastbound 0.5mi from downtown on southside of Hwy 1. Stay on frontage road. Its hard to see due to large trees in front of large bldg. Its just before Marble/Granite store on frontage Rd.

Both from Maine's Coastal Region we've lived in the beautiful Northwest area of Portland,Oregon since 1974 except for a 5-year sojourn to Stuttgart, Germany where Jerry worked for the US military and Judy for the American Red Cross. This was a once in lifetime opportunity to travel and learn about many cultures from Scandinavia to North Africa and Eastern Bloc countries to the Mid-East.

This was our first time to Cabo and we wanted a memorable and relaxing vacation. We were not disappointed. The location had a fantastic panoramic view from the highest hill in the entire resort including seeing whales from its terraces. Booking was incredibly easy and the owner provided us with multiple emails and print outs of information, they even had laundry detergent! The staff at Montecristco was extremely accommodating from delivering desserts at 10:00pm to arranging a special price for a sunset jazz and wine cruise. From our window we could see BOTH the sunrise and sunset. We can’t wait to return. Pictures cannot prepare you for how beautiful, serene, and expansive this villa is. This was exactly the relaxing vacation we were searching for, thank you Jerry and Judy! Cheers, Lillian and Rob.

We have been to this villa twice and plan to go again. Its location provides the best views. We love starting and ending each day in the infinity pool, watching the ships go out in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Great accommodations and wonderful terrace space to enjoy the outdoors and the ocean views. The bedroom suites are so luxurious. The restaurants, swimming pools and other facilities at the resort are first class, as is the service from the Montecristo staff! It is even more beautiful than the photos suggest! The owners are very easy to work with. Definitely recommend this for a family gathering, girls getaway, or romantic escape!

Montecristo #11 exceeded all of my expectations! This luxury villa is very well appointed; the location is impeccable, and the views absolutely incredible. Accomodations and amenities are very comfortable and well planned. The Villa staff is very attentive to guests needs. All of Pueblo Bonito companion sites, pools, restaurants and spas compliment Montecristo. Sunsets from the infinity pool are beautiful. Highly recommend as a perfect vacation destination.

Montecristo #11 was definitely one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find everything better than the pictures and the staff was wonderful. This is a great place to rent if you have a large family or are going on vacation with a few couples as each bedroom has it's own full bath. There is plenty of space, everything was immaculate and you get the best of both worlds with access to Sunset Beach down below but the exclusion of being up on the hill (not to mention the great views!). We would come back for sure!

The Villa was fantastic, it was spacious, well appointed and made you feel like staying in on most nights. It is perfect for 6 people but has room for more. The hot tub and infinity pool were fantastic. This villa is at the highest point at Montecristo which provided great views. I highly recommend it, the owners were fantastic and very helpful throughout the entire process.

From when we first walked in the door my friends and I knew we had made the best decision! The house is beautiful and sparkling clean. Every room is beautifully furnished with great views. Also the staff at the resort and sister resorts were very kind and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

Your Villa was fabulous! Best family vacation ever. Close and easy to get to town. Great panoramic view of Pacific, Resort, and even saw whales from our terrace. Our family of 8 loved the privacy each suite provided as well as privacy of your Villa's end and high up location. Enjoyed use of Resort's restaurants, deli, many pools(the kids especially), etc. Hotel Pacifico amenities were incredilbe. This is a beautiful place! We were here for 7 days in January 2008 and loved the spacious villa, the wide-ranging resort amenities, and of course the wonderful shops and eateries of Cabo. My favorite times? Those mornings in our private infinity pool watching the daily migration of fishing boats and an occasional spouting whale against a spectacular sunrise. Heavenly!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Parmenter's villa in the Montecristo section of Sunset Beach Resort in January 2007. The views from the patios were spectatular !! The villa was very well appointed and the kitchen very adequately equipped for the eight guests...Having two levels gave us all room to spread out....It was a pleasure to do business with the Parmenters and they were most responsive to all our questions....A most enjoyable week and Sunset Beach Resort is a beautiful place in Cabo....Sabra and Bill Leadbitter
