WELCOME to our peaceful cottage nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. You will find it has everything to offer, just bring your clothes and food. We even supply some of that, like coffee, tea, condiments, and a few things in the pantry.

This tastefully decorated cottage is located in the charming Linville Falls Community. You will feel very secluded, yet you are a short drive from shopping, antiques, and crafts. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 3 minutes away with hiking, fishing, rafting, and tubing or just driving and enjoying the magnificent views. Ski slopes are only a 20 to 25 minute drive. The towns of Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC are just a short 25 minute drive away. Each one offering its own character and charm. If you choose to take it easy you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings reading or napping in the rockers or porch swing . Listen and watch for the many different types of birds, even an occasional owl. We provide bird seed to keep the feeders filled.

We offer modern conveniences with a relaxed atmosphere.We have board games for the really lazy summer days, or for the chilly snowy winter days. We also include children's books and videos, puzzles, cards,checkers,and chess. Enjoy the cool evenings sitting in front of a remote controlled gas fireplace. There is a gas barbeque grill on the back deck, with table and chairs for dining outside in the summer and fall.

Attractions nearby include the Linville Caverns, Mt. Mitchell (highest peak east of the Missisippi), Grandfather Mtn., gem mining, antiquing, skiing, rafting, tubing, waterfalls, golfing,trout fishing, and the historic town of Blowing Rock with all its shops, Banner Elk with Lees-McRae College and their marvelous Theatre Dept., and also the college town of Boone, home of Applachain State University, and of course,the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway with miles of beautiful trails.

We will allow pets at an additional charge of $20 per day with prior approval. One requirement is that you bring a pet kennel for your pet whenever you leave him/her alone.
