Great pool but....

We stayed at the 3 bedroom from 5/12 - 5/16 Pros -Pool is great -Neighborhood is quiet -King Bed is comfortable, but the pillows could be replaced Cons -Dining Room table was filthy. The placemats were covering up food and dirt. The rest of the house seemed well cleaned. -I know it says the dishwasher detergent is the responsibility of the guest, but it makes me wonder what the dishes were cleaned with before we arrived. If the last guest used detergent, you'd think they would leave the leftover detergent, as I would. I don't think providing a small amount of detergent is too much to ask. -Some of the towels were musty smelling. Again my fear was what, if anything, were they washed in prior to my arrival as no detergent is provided. We bought detergent and ended up washing everything before we used it. -Some nice beach towels for the pool would be a nice addition. Though there were a few annoyances, we still had a great time. You get an entire house with a great pool for less cost than staying at a nice hotel.

All feedback is much appreciated both good and bad to help us to maintain the high standards we aim to provide. We are sorry that whilst the rest of the house had been well cleaned the placemats in the dining room had not been washed and some spare towels were musty (put away slightly damp). New cleaners have been engaged at a higher cost and also given instructions to replace pillows regularly. I am very pleased that despite the issues the guests still managed to have a great time. The guests did email later to say they had found the beach towels during their stay. We do advise guests that consumables are not provided and to use the convenience store along the road or stop at the shopping complex at Champions Gate on the way. Whilst some guests will leave unused items others do take them when they leave.

We had family in from Norway and were so happy to have this great home to go to in the evenings after a long day in the parks! The house looks just like the pictures and it was nice to have the garage full of games on the rainy days. I would recommend this house to anyone. It is about 20 minutes from any Disney park and there is a grocery store and food close by. The owners were great about answering all of my questions prior to my rental and being flexible about our dates. Would recommend this house!

My family stayed for a short Disney trip in February 2011. Wow! The place is very large. Bedrooms were all good sizes. The beds were SUPER comfortable. Kids loved the pool - nice break during the day after the parks. It is a 15-18 minute drive from driveway to the parking lots of the parks - and an easy drive at that. Even over President's Day Weekend - a busy time in Disney - we faced no traffic at all. The garage/game room was a nice plus. Having experienced the villa, there is really no reason to return to a hotel room for Orlando. People asked if the nice photos on the web site are indicative of the place - and they are. You have the convenience of home (internet, full kitchen, tv with cable, nice bathrooms) within a really short drive to the parks. Two thumbs up - way up!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Deb, We absolutely loved it. The house was magnificent with plenty of room for everyone. We were also able to take advantage of the pool and hottub several times. It was very easy to find and a very quite neighborhood. I will certainly keep your information for future vacations and will recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in that area. Deb, This home was wonderful and perfect for the entire family. It includes things to do for all ages. Royce was very helpful in answering my questions. The lanscaping was very neat. Thank you Deb. I received notice from Paypal that the refund has been processed. Everything was great and we would certainly use the house again on our next visit. Only issue we had was the pool water not being up to snuff for the 1st couple of days (was murky and apparently the chemicals were quite a bit out of balance - the pool guy was very nice though). Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves.

Hi Deb! I just wanted to let you know that there are really no words to describe what a wonderful time we had in your home! From the pictures, I knew that it was a beautiful home, but I never imagined it to be so amazingly comfortable. Everything that we needed was at our disposal. The kids spend a whole day swimming while I took hundreds of pictures and my husband fished off of the dock. We were all so comfortable in the home that we didn't want to go anywhere on the 5th and 6th days there. My 9 year old son even decided that we should just stay there forever and not come back to Texas :) I would definitely recommend your villas to everyone that I know. I have had many people inquire on where we stayed and I will be forwarding the VRBO website to them and suggesting that they look into renting from you or Mary. Hi Deb, We very much enjoyed the stay at Pinewood, it is a lovely, comfortable and well tended. It is nice to know that you have a discount for returning guests, as it is likely we will use you in the future! I'll look for the paypal transaction from Mark shortly. The only true complaint we had was that the twin beds were quite hard (I can't personally attest to that, as I was in the wonderful master bed downstairs! ;) Poor kids...) Hi Deb, Our family had a wonderful time at the Pinewood home. We all had our own bedrooms & loved the fact that they all had flat screen tvs in them. Our only complaint is the big screen in the sitting room, my husband had a problem with all the remotes & what worked what even Royce wasn't sure how to work them.

HI Deb, Thanks - We had an excellent time and your house lived up to our expectations! We are frequent "villa" renters because with 6 kids it is the only way to travel. A few things to report as an FYI. You have a roof/window leak in the 2nd floor bathroom at the top of the stairs. It poured rain on Saturday night and my kids pointed out a "bubble" in the paint and water dripping in. The internet connection was not working for me at all - and I kinda know what I am doing. I even tried to go straight from the router to my computer vs the wireless and I got a "limited connectivity". The property has very poor cell phone coverage for Verizon (not much you can do about that!) We will tell our friends about your place - can I use the same price or should they check with you? Hi Deb, We had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable for all the family. The kitchen was very well equipped with pots and pans, cups, glasses, etc. We enjoy the wireless internet connection, cable TV, the "big and little kids" enjoy the play station, pool table and air hockey table.
