Lovingly restored 1840 Brick Row House in Historic Fells Point!
In the mid 1800's a famous African American artist by the name of Joshua Johnson was said to reside on our little alley street. He was famous for his portraits of the wealthy residents of Fells Point! As well as being one of America's first black artists, he was also known to always add a small painting of a strawberry somewhere in his work. Hence, "Strawberry Alley"! While retaining the original charm of this 1840's Historic Brick Row House this two and a half story row house has been completely updated with a new kitchen and bathroom and new flooring. Cozy, Comfortable and Charming!
Relax on the main level, featuring living room, kitchen and bar. Satellite TV with DVD and Home Theater System. All new hardwood floor and furnished with one full-size futons, just in case you have a house guest. Kindly remember, max occupancy is six guests. Kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances! Blender, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. New 42 inch hardwood cherry cabinets with brushed pewter hardware! Sorry, no dishwasher or garbage disposal.
Or venture into the large back courtyard, one of a few in the City! Complete privacy with overhanging ivy and privacy walls. Enjoy backyard barbecues with the gas grill and outdoor dining furniture!
Upstairs on the second floor features a brand new bathroom, featuring Italian tile and pedestal sink!
Enjoy the convenience of a washer and dryer in the property! Laundry supplies have been provided for your use!
The second level features a full-size bed with dual closets, wood blinds and satellite TV with built in DVD! Don't forget to check out the DVD collection.
Up onto the third level you will find the master bedroom with a queen-size bed and armoire! The original floors here have been lovingly refurbished to retain the charm of the house! Notice the grooves in the steps as you climb the spiral staircase, how many seamen climbed these same steps!
Enjoy the comfort of the master bedroom complete with satellite TV with built in DVD, clock radio and stereo with CD! Or just read a book in the window seat overlooking the eaves of the house!

The house is located in the historic district of Fells Point and is only three blocks from Little Italy. The Inner Harbor is just a 15 minute walk away. Enjoy local restaurants, pubs, shops, art galleries, antique and vintage clothing stores! Inner Harbor attractions such as the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, Port Discovery, Power Plant Live, ESPN Zone, Hard Rock Cafe, Oriole Park at Camden Yards and many others just minutes away! Park the car for your stay! And don't forget, Whole Foods grocery store, located only 2 1/2 blocks away!
Note: Off street parking available or park in the garage only 1 1/2 blocks away. Parking on the alley street is not permitted.
D.C. is just one hour away and New York City only three hours north!
