POLICY CHANGE: "Twice In a Month" rentals are now allowed In our specific facility. (That means I can accommodate one week rentals limited to two check ins per month). There is a 50% premium for a one week rental price. Meaning the listing prices are based off of a 2-3 week rental rate.

When people stroll along the 3.5 mile golden sand beach of New Mazatlan, over 1/2 the people stop and gaze at our complex in amazement. There IS a reason.. "Paraiso" means "Paradise" in Spanish and it lives up to it's name. As owners, we paid a good deal more to get the best.

Did you notice that our condo looks better than others in the same complex??? That's because we spent quadruple on the furnishings as compared to others and many thousands more in upgrades. We switched out all of the fans, lighting, and mirrors as well as custom painting so that the room is even more impressive to the eye. The decorators selected furnishings and upgrades so that our condo felt more like a home than just a room to rent. We adding marble and wood accent on the walls and put in dozens of other features that make this a very special condo in comparison to others. The pictures and guest feedback on this site says it all. I have dozens more pictures to view (just ask). If you want to rent the best condo on the beach, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Our goal was to have a beautiful vacation home for ourselves as well as our guests.

This complex was completed early 2008 and my condo is a spacious 2300 square foot. You are renting direct from the owner.

Our condo is in a quieter upscale neighborhood called 'New' Mazatlan which is under a minute from the Marina with GOLDEN sand. This is not just a room to rent but it is an owners "resort" with an on-site spa, tennis courts, workout facilities, free game room, restaurant, etc. Meals and drinks are a inexpensive in comparison to other complexes.

This 10 acre gated upscale condominium resort is located right on the beach on the Northern-Shore area. You will enjoy a beautiful front ocean view and stunning sunsets. Looking only at pictures can be deceiving because not all ocean views are created equal. Additionally, the views of the room that you see is OUR room and off of OUR deck, not someone else's. From the large patio deck off the living room, you will enjoy a 180 degree view of the ocean overlooking large mountainous rock formations. The floor is low enough to 'connect' with the ocean yet high enough not to have obstructed views of palapa or palm trees or decks. Expect your jaw to drop with this incredible view!

The ocean view side is nearly ALL windows (60 feet of windows) for an amazing feel to the room. The decorators only chose the finest fabrics and the best quality coordinated furnishings. Nearly all of the other rooms you see online are decorated and furnished with "rentals in mind." Meaning, they cut many corners including the quality of the bed. Every picture, every fabric, and every furnishing was carefully chosen to impress your eyes. Therefore, you will be extremely delighted with this complex and especially with our specific condo with all of its upgrades. In fact, we were asked by the developer to allow our specific condo pictures to be featured in the complex advertising campaign. We were honored and you will see these pictures in various Mazatlan magazines.

The living room contains an audiophile 5.1 home theater system heavily stocked with DVD titles using a Widescreen TV. We have included some family games in the room to make your stay enjoyable even after the sun sets. I stocked the kitchen with all the accouterments needed for potential yearly living including a dozen items not normally included in a rental unit. Additionally we have a full size washer and dryer that is perfect for guests who want to pack a smaller suitcase.

When you compare the view, the quality of the resort, caliber of furnishings, free USA and Canadian phone service, and the size of the rooms, nothing will compare for such an affordable price. Set the bar as high as you like; you won't be disappointed!

  • We recently stayed at Steve and Sherry's condo for a week and absolutely loved everything about it!!! For fun, we looked at 5 other condo's for sale in the complex because we loved it so much and considered buying. The other condo's didn't compare. While the pictures look lovely online, they really don't do it justice. Everything was perfect without even a scuff on the wall. It was immaculate!! In the end, we decided not to buy and plan on re-booking this condo next year. Highly recommended!!! Debbie and Ron from MI

  • After looking at rental units available in Mazatlan we chose Steve’s Condo at Paraiso for our three week vacation at the end of January. All the positive comments he provided about his Condo and Paraiso were absolutely true! Steve was very accommodating and attentive to our requests. His condo is not your normal rental unit and easily accommodates 2 couples with lots of room. Its like staying at a 6 star hotel with all the amenities, you will not feel crowded. The staff was exceptional making us feel welcomed and took care of any requests made. If you are considering Mazatlan for your next vacation, you will not be disappointed if you chose to rent Steve’s condo at Paraiso. The beach, sunsets and the weather make it a great vacation spot.

  • Right from our first contact with Steve,our experience was terrific. Steve provided a wealth of information which we found very helpful when we arrived. The condo is excellent and the views to watch the sunsets and whales are surpurb. We also found that all of the staff, be it security or the front desk were really nice. The stretch of beach out front is excellent for walking and if you are a runner you can do a nice 5k from the front door towards town. Once you cross the bridge and return it is 5K. We have been to Mexico many times and this time brought my brother and his wife for their first visit. Needless to say they were most impressed with how easy Steve's information made it for them to adjust. Thank you Steve and our 3 weeks over Christmas were a "First Class" tret for the 4 of us.

  • We had a very enjoyable stay at Steve's place it was absolutely fantastic. What some people do to give you that holiday of a lifetime. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is even more stupendous when you arrive, give your self a shake. You enter the foyer, you go to the elevator, you get off, you open the door, THIS IS YOUR NEW ADDRESS FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS, get use to it ENJOY we sure did. Thanks Steve

  • We have been coming down to Mazatlan since the mid 80's and I have stayed at many of the complexes in Mazatlan. Paraiso Costa Bonita is BEAUTIFUL! The specific location is in the "new" Mazatlan area yet close to the action of the Golden Zone so it is the best of both worlds. The attention to detail was amazing. I was impressed how everything looked brand new (we didn’t even see a scuff on the wall). The condo was taken care of with perfection. This complex is right on a golden beach and it is in front of a rock-free area (not all areas of Mazatlan have the golden sand and several spots have rocks that makes it dangerous to enjoy the ocean). The meals and drinks were a 1/3 of the price of other restaurants. There were plenty things to do at the complex like play tennis, billiards, use the outdoor hot tub, etc. All of the owners were professionals and friendly. We really did feel at home. :) My husband has a hip problem so the short walk from the beach to the elevator was appreciated. In fact, with the swipe of an electronic card, the elevator automatically opens right into the room! We were so impressed that Jim and I were pretty serious about buying at this complex. The construction quality was obviously to the next level versus other projects we looked at. Plus, the amenities were plentiful. Since all of the rooms in the complex were sold, we looked at 8 existing units that were for sale including the remaining model. Therefore we had the opportunity to view different layouts inside of the same complex as well as how others furnished their rooms. If you have the opportunity, stay in a three bedroom unit with the curved windows. We came down with another couple but the view and extra room was helpful (even though we didn’t use the 3rd bedroom). Additionally, the three bedroom layout has many more upgrades and the views are more impressive in every way. I will say that Steve and Sherry took things to a different level in comparison to the other rooms we looked at in the same complex. All of the rooms were o.k. to nice, but the condo we rented was obviously to the next level including the view and quality of furnishings. Steve and Sherry did so many more things to “jazz” it up including marble accents, colorful painting, decorative mirrors, stunning lighting, as well as other special touches. Some of the eclectic furnishings were so beautiful to look at! The coffee and end tables were a work of art all by themselves! It was obvious that they spend an incredible amount of time to make this place look so amazing. The room felt warm and inviting yet classy. After seeing the difference we knew we rented the right room for an incredible vacation. After studying the numbers, Jim and I felt it was simply more economical to re-book annually to our new home away from home. We highly recommend this complex and especially Steve and Sherry’s condominium.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Steve and Sherry's condo in August 2008, that really exceeded our expectations! The condo was so spacious, beautifully furnished,and so comfortable for us and our daughter and son-in-law. We found the panoramic view of the beach, ocean and sky just astounding. The staff was terrific, as was the food; the atmosphere in the entire complex was very friendly and we felt very much at home. We hope to return and most highly recommend it.

  • We just got back from two of the most relaxing weeks...ever! The Paraiso is lovely and the condo could not be more comfortable and well appointed. The staff was the best, especially Renee and Jaime. The other owners were very friendly and helpful. The prices at Paraiso were the BEST anywhere and the food is fabulous! Steve is very nice and attentive to any and all inquiries.

  • My wife and I stayed at Steve's condo from March 24 the April 5th, 2008 this past year. My impression on his place and condo is that it is absolutely gorgeous. It was like paridise there every day all fourteen days. The view from the living room, patio, and bedroom are beatiful ie the Pacific Ocean. My wife loves the sound of the waves and the waves are always there like 5 to 6 ft high all the time. When you look out from the living room patio and bedroom you see the swimming pools down below and then beyond that is the ocean, a very beatiful view. There is always a gentle breeze from the ocean which at night you can use to cool the condo by opening the windows a little and a constant breeze blows through the condo. We did not have to use the air conditioning as the temperature was perfect. My wife and I like his place so much we are considering purchasing a condo. I have known Steve for many years in purchasing home theater equipment from him. Steve is great to work with. On the day we arrived in Mazatlan Steve picked my wife and I up and showed us his condo. We met his wife Sherri and his two children. He showed us some of the sites in Maz and then his condo. This was very nice to take his time to do this. The food at the bar for breakfest and lunch are great and cheap and the drinks are great. My only negative is that I gain 10 pounds in the two weeks. Highly recommended.

  • We loved Steve and Sherry's unit and Mazatlan. The weather was perfect everyday, we were there for two weeks in April. Jimmy at the palapa is exceptional, and we enjoyed the whole complex and other owners so much we are looking to purchase ourselves. Steve makes the whole process seamless, and the only thing we complained about is that we had to leave after two weeks.
