Grand Oak Villa was our first time renting a vacation home and we were extrememly pleased with experience. The home was just as it appeared in the photos and was immaculate. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was very comfortable and spacious. We had our family (8 adults and 2 children) altogether for 10 days and there was plenty of room so that everyone was able to have their own private space and yet nice open areas so that we could spend time together. The pool was a favorite with everyone - and the nature area in the back of the property made it very private and peaceful. The location of the property is very convenient to Disney World. We were able to go early in the morning, come back for a break in the afternoon and then return to Disney World in the evening. We also spent a day at Cocoa Beach which was also an easy drive. The owner, Jennie, did everything she could to make sure that our stay was enjoyable and her personal touches in the house truly made it feel like our home away from home. We all agreed that we had a fantastic vacation and that we would not hestitate to return to Grand Oak Villa in the future.

Our Disney Vacation

We would like to thank Jennie and family for letting us enjoy their home on our recent vacation to Florida. We all had a grand time(5 adults 2 children.). The home is exactly as described in the VRBO listing We did.marathon trips to Disney and Universal theme parks. The home was immaculate, large an comfortable. The instructions and maps Jennie provided were perfect. We enjoyed the closeness to Disney while being able to escape the chaos of the hotels in summer. Being able to leave the parks in the afternoon and return home for lunch and pool time was refreshing. after a quick nap it was bake to the parks for the evening festivities. The home was large enough for all of us to have their own space without bouncing off of each other. It was easy for all of us to get ready for "rope drop" at the parks every morning. and a very relaxing place to come back to at night. The view from the pool deck is wonderful, a great place to unwind and end the evening. Convenience and comfort, all groceries and restaurants nearby. A real GEM!! Don't miss this one. It's better than a Disney hotel.

An absolutely perfect place for a family getaway! Highly recommended!!

Several members of our family chose this villa as the location for our first group getaway, and could not have been more pleased with our stay here. We had an absolutely wonderful time in this villa! I personally cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Jennie. She was very, very friendly, quick to respond, addressed every question and need that we had, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and homey as possible. Throughout the week, I heard many comments from my family about the home: it was very tastefully furnished; impeccably clean; spacious and accommodating. We loved arriving to a miniature live Christmas tree, and deeply appreciated the several personal touches that made everything even more special to us. The kids (young and old) loved the pool. We had ample room to gather (or retreat, should one need some time away). It had the best of everything. I highly recommend this vacation home. We had no trouble with traffic, even during the busy Christmas season, finding our way to Celebration, CitiWalk, Universal Studios, and various other tourist attractions. Thank you so much to the owners for opening your home to us! This was so much better than trying to maneuver a week-long stay at a hotel!

We had the pleasure of staying for a week December 4-11 and the house was even better than we were expecting. The size of the home allowed for much appreciated room to stretch out and would easily accommodate a large family or multiple families. The house is more beautiful than the pictures and video, which isn't always the case. The location was great - with easy access to all of the parks. We went to Universal to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the drive was 15-20 minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to find. The pool was great even though the weather was down right cold (30's and 40's!!) the warm pool was such a treat. The greatest part of the entire transaction was working with Jennie. What a wonderful help before, during and after the trip. I cannot say enough kind words about her and this beautiful home. Priceless experience! We would not only recommend this home to anyone and everyone but we hope to be visit again. We wouldn't stay anywhere else! Nothing else compares.

November Golf

Arranging a holiday is always a little stressful. One is a little skeptical as to whether the photos and descriptions shall be matched by reality. Without question Grande Oak Villa is a large, exquisitely appointed, expertly maintain home away from home, where reality really exceeds its description and pictures. Our initial drive to Davenport/Champions Gate seemed to take us away from Orlando. However, once we arrived we realized that we were in the exact center of where we wanted to be. The house itself more than met our expectations. As golfers, we were literally surrounded by some of the best courses in central Florida. A quick, easy drive took us to Tampa and a hockey game while Orlando attractions, theme parks, shopping and restaurants were easily accessible and only a few minutes from door-to-door. Everything seemed to be no more than 20 minutes away. From first contact through to departure the owner, an extremely friendly, personable lady, helpfully made everything easy and seamless. From beginning to end she carefully ensured that all issues and topics are covered. The owners seemed more concerned about us enjoying ourselves and that the house was in prime condition for us than they were about renting the property. The bottom line is that I have already recommended renting and enjoying the Grande Oak Villa to friends. I ask only that there be a couple of weeks open for myself and my fellow Canadian golfers as this is going to become a regular venue for us. Thanks for a great stay. DWH

Home from home

Grand Oak Villa offers you every mod con of the home away from home. It is spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. Our family of four were joined by my brother and his family for a few days and we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their "space", we actually felt quite lost in the house when they left! The pool is a massive bonus after a hot, exhausting day trailing around the parks. There is plenty to do in Orlando and it seems that the villa is perfectly placed to access most of it. The major Disney theme parks are all within a 20 mins drive and a trip to Kennedy Space Centre was under an hour and a half from the reserve. The kids are campaigning to come back every year!

We stayed at your beautiful home in July with all of our family and their partners and we all said that it has to be one of the best holidays we have had, and would definately love to return someday. This lovely Florida home is large, immaculately clean,comfortable and generously furnished. It is convenient to all of the local attractions, and a welcome respite after chaotic days. We stayed in this beautiful villa in 2006, 2008 and 2009 with our 4 children. The villa is spacious, clean and very well presented. It has an excellent pool which the children and us alike enjoyed very much. The property also has the benefit of being a 10 minute drive of Disney. We like it so much that we are returning again in 2011.

The pictures do not even do this house justice. The home was welcoming, spotless, huge and beautiful. We had a fabulous vacation and spent lots of time enjoying the pool and the games room at "home". The house accomodated two families (10 people) very comfortably. We will definately return and will strongly recommend this home to our friends.
