Nestled in a quiet and peaceful wooded setting in the Village of Northport, this cozy cottage is just a short walk or bike ride into town. You can experience the beauty of Northport with access to beautiful sand beaches, picnic areas, transient marina dockage, shops, dining, art galleries and more.....
This cottage has one lower level bedroom and a loft. There is a full sized bed in the lower level bedroom and a queen bed and twin sized trundle beds in the loft. In the living room, there is a full sized futon. In all, this cottage can sleep eight comfortably. Cable TV is included in both the living room and loft area.
The fully equipped kitchen, comes complete with a large counter area with two bar stools....perfect for preparing and serving food. There is a table for four in the dining area as well.
The bathroom has plenty of cabinet storage for your personal items. There is a lighted stall shower with a hand held shower head and glass shower door. A hair drier is provided. There is also a stackable washer/dryer combo in the bathroom.
Enjoy coffee in the morning, daily meals and game playing in the lighted, 12-foot screened-in enclosure located outside on the paved patio. This gazebo comes equipped a with a table and seating for six. Another table and chairs surround the fire pit, a perfect space for evening bonfires and marshmallow roasting.
We offer ample parking for cars or your boat and trailer. The back yard is grassy and could easily accommodate a volleyball or badminton net or Bocce Balls(not included). There is also a clothes line to hang beach towels and bathing suits. Take a walk in the woods behind the house and experience complete tranquility and peacefulness on this two acre wooded parcel.
Northport is just a short drive from Leland, Suttons Bay and Glen Arbor. Traverse City is just a 30-minute drive. Look for Petoskey stones, swim and picnic at Lake Michigan’s Peterson Park or Christmas Cove. This cottage is less than a 1/4 mile walk from a beautiful sandy public beach access on Grand Traverse Bay. Northport offers a beautiful town beach with play structures for the kids, grills and picnic tables. The Northport Marina, the Grand Traverse Lighthouse, shopping, sightseeing, golfing, wine tasting, gambling and so much more are all here in the Leelanau Peninsula and are all just minutes away from Northport.

May, September, October $500/week. ($135.00 nightly rental rate) 2 night Minimum

FLAT RATE FEE...NO CLEANING FEE...NO SECURITY DEPOSIT...NO OTHER HIDDEN FEES
A deposit of half the rental fee is due when reservation date is made.
The remaining half is due 30 days prior to your reservation date arrival.
A full refund of your deposit will only be refunded if cancellations are made 45
days in advance of your reserved rental date.

Location, Location, Location is everything! Walking distance to beaches and town. Every day we would walk into town and grab a donut at Barb's Bakery (best donuts EVER!!). Spend the day at the beach, just walking distance from the cottage. And in the evening, go to Peterson Park to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan. Best views are here! Don't forget to make a bonfire to relax in front of each night. This is a great get-away, cozy and clean. The best of Northern Michigan living!! We love this cottage...thank you Sally and Chuck!! We will be back year after year!
