This lovingly maintained, year-round lakefront victorian is a gleaming gem. It offers casual luxury and unbeatable value in one of the finest rental properties on Keuka Lake. Completely renovated and super-clean throughout, this home has the charm of yesteryear plus all modern conveniences. Conveniently located just one and a half miles from the village of Penn Yan. Drive right to the door via a gracious circular driveway flanked by historic entry gates and lined with trees.
Enter into the stunning, spacious kitchen and dining room with hardwood cherry floors, eating island, original arched windows with classic wood trim, and sliding door leading outside. Fully equipped kitchen with updated appliances, including large refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, built-in microwave, etc. Off the kitchen is a convenient, small "quarter bath". The dining room is open to the kitchen and features a large farm-style dining set and country hutch. The bright living room has a comfortable leather sofa bed, matching chair/ottoman, amish-style rocker and gas fireplace with thermostat. French doors lead to the covered front porch with two ceiling fans and striking lake views. Enjoy meals on the comfortable patio set or relax on the wooden rocking chairs.
Upstairs are two bedrooms and two full modern bathrooms. The master suite has a king bed, antique dressers, walk in closet and private bath. The second bedroom is extra large and perfect for kids or adults. It sleeps up to six with a twin-over-double bunk bed, separate twin bed, and unique Pottery Barn "race boat" bed with trundle. The third guest bedroom has the same quality craftsmanship as the rest of the house and offers space and privacy above the attached garage. This room is not accessible from the main house but is just a few steps from the covered back door. It has cherry hardwood floors, two double beds, dressers, ceiling fan, TV/VCR, dinette set, and four large windows with birds-eye views of the lake and landscaped grounds.
The large parklike yard is private with a stream on one side and neighboring estate on the other. Play badminton, soccer, frisbee, or bocce on the big lawn, basketball in the driveway or ping pong, foosball and air hockey in the garage. In the front, enjoy 100 feet of gorgeous beach. About 20 wide, brick steps are built-in to the European style break wall leading to the beach. Excellent swimming with gentle slopes into the lake and a wide beach for daytime fun and night-time bon fires. Two docks for your boat and/or fishing. Three-person canoe on-site for your use.
Ample on-site parking. Utility room in basement with washer and dryer. Town water service with water purifier. Electric baseboard heat throughout. Updated plumbing and electric. This is a special place to make Keuka Lake memories in summer, fall, winter or spring.

This home is one of those rare gems that is a perfect balance of roominess and coziness. We had 10 adults and four children in the kitchen for dinner one night! The description was accurate, location perfect - close enough to town, but not too close. Over all a great stay off season, I can only imagine id would be even better in the summer.

Stayed for a long weekend over labor day.....beautiful setting. Enjoyed eating every meal outside on the porch...a stunning setting overlooking the lake. Our favorite parts of our stay were relaxing on the porch, making s'mores at the lakeside, swimming in the crystal clear lake and playing cards in the kitchen. The house was clean, well stocked and conveniently located near grocery store and a short drive to restaurants. We ranged in age from 1 year to 70 and everyone enjoyed the trip. The owner was easy to work with and everything went off without a hitch. We would recommend to others and we would stay again...what you think a lake house should be charming, full of character and with beautiful views from rocking chairs

We are from Tennessee and it was myself, husband, mom, brother, and 1 year old son that booked this house. I have family that lives in the area and it was perfect for all of us. The room above the garage was PERFECT for my 2 cousins and their 2 children. The location was beautiful, close to downtown and the grocery store, which was VERY convenient. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch during the day and night and the beach was beautiful!! The kitchen was amazing. Big enough for everyone to sit and talk while others cook. It was safe for my 1 year old which was very nice. I did not have to worry about him getting into things too much. We overall had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again! Ed was very easy to get along with and was very prompt to answer and questions or concerns I had. Thanks so much!! :)

The lake house is wonderful. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The front porch had a nice patio set and rocking chairs for enjoying the beautiful view of lake. This was an ideal place for our girls weekend as the kitchen and living room offered a lot of space. Two full baths and a half bath downstairs was perfect for 9 ladies trying to get out of the house early in the morning. Thank you to Ed and Luanne for helping to make this a trip we will never forget.

This was our second family weekend at this beautiful, well kept, spacious home. We spent Mothers Day weekend and everyone loved the whole layout of the home. The dining room is exactly what you hope for when having family and friends together. The porch overlooking the lake is PERFECT. Had a wonderful stay with friends at this property, in which everyone was impressed how nice, well apointed and upkept this home was. We loved the kitchen and huge dining room area as it was PERFECT for a big "family" dinner and entertainment both nights of our stay. Plenty of space for our group in the rest of the house between the living room and large bedrooms. We only wish the weather would have been a bit warmer to enjoy the great porch off the back of the house. The home is in a quiet residential area with easy access to either side of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail which is one of the reasons we came to the lake for the weekend along with being close to Penn Yan if you need to grab something at the store. You really can't find many other rental properties in the area with a great location for wineries, on the water, charming both inside and out of the property and at the price paid. Thank you again for a great stay, we hope to be back soon!

We stayed here March 7-9, 2008 This house was absolutely AWESOME!! There was 9 women, we went to some wineries, and sitting around the fabulous kitchen table laughing and having a wonderful time. It snowed 9 inches and was gorgeous. The lake was frozen but still a wonderful place to go. We had plenty of room and the amenities are great. Cant wait to stay here again!!!

We just returned from staying at your fantastic home on the lake! We arrived Friday evening with no problems and enjoyed a relaxing dinner on the deck (even though is was a bit rainy, it was warm enough to enjoy the outdoor space!). Your kitchen table provided a great space to play some games. Saturday was a relaxing morning followed by a day on the "Wine Trail". We again enjoyed the kitchen space for dinner on Saturday (the temperatures dropped to much to be outdoors) with our fantastic wine finds. Sunday morning we awoke and were able to enjoy watching the wood ducks and a very persistent cardinal was trying to catch his reflection in your kitchen windows. We were sad to go but look forward to another trip sometime in the future! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
