Our visit to the stunningly beautiful island of Kauai was enhanced by our stay at this lovely property. We arrived late at night and when we awoke to the view from our bedroom window, we were just astounded! A lush and verdant landscape available for us to view from a tasteful and comfortable interior. The outdoor shower and tub further enhanced our ability to enjoy the wonder of our surroundings. The property was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and we loved the location for all of our jaunts around the island. Would return in a heartbeat!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Charming Cottage with Perfect Central Location!

My partner and I stayed here during our first trip to Kaua'i in January 2011. The cottage is cute, cozy, and quaint. It was perfect for us because it had a kitchen, which was perfect for us, since we are vegan and cook all of our meals. The outdoor shower and tub were very nice as well. A perfect central location if you want to explore the entire island! We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived in the dark after our big San Diego wedding and hours of travel. We fell asleep in the cozy bed and woke up to find the sky getting lighter through the trees and birds singing! We explored all the nooks and crannies and discovered yummy coffee, spicy soap and so many thoughtful treats to add to our magical Kauai honeymoon! Thank you!

We stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon in February, 2006. A wonderful relaxing spot. Even with the biggest rain storm in 20 years we had a blast!!The outdoor shower was great & the tub very nice. We are way overdue for adding our comments. Would go back in a minute. Looks like you have added some features, BBQ, etc that make it even better than it was. We will be back. Gary & Ann

Sweet, lovely, perfect, awesome little cottage! We love the Japanese - Asian inspired theme and found it to have everything we could ever need for a GREAT stay! So glad to have had the opportunity to have stayed here.

From the moment we pulled into the front driveway, we knew we were very lucky to find the Tea Garden Cottage. After long, sun-filled days on gorgeous Kauai beaches, this Cottage calls you home and slows you down. We loved every minute of it (especially the tub!). What a beautiful place to spend our honeymoon! We were very impressed with the entire Cottage. Our favorite was the outdoor jaccuzzi with candles. It was the best place we stayed on our entire visit in Hawaii. Thank you for making us feel welcome with your kindness and hospitality. Mahalo!

July 2008 Recipe for Perfect Day Ingredients: 2-3 days at Tea Garden Cottage and 1 bottle wine, margaritas, etc. Add: Afternoon at beach (don't overcook!). Leisurely dinner. Simmer: 30-45 minutes in jacuzzi tub - add candles and wine. Remove from tub, pat dry and finish off in bedroom until done.

It was a wonderful experience here in paradise. We enjoyed the fresh air, the birds singing, the trees swaying and the peacefulness of the place. Kauai is an emerald jewel with beautiful beaches and hiking trails. We especially enjoyed our sunsets overlooking the forbidden island and will always remember the time spent in your lovely cottage. As I write a hen and her chicks are feeding on the grounds below!

Well, where to start? The cottage is absolutely perfect for a vacation getaway. We so enjoyed every little thing about it - from the pictures and fans on the wall to the great picture of your family (the dog too!). Even though we never saw the sun (ok maybe 1/2 hour over the 8 day stay) we love Kauai - we will be back to see the sights and hang out on the beaches. Aloha and Mahalo

We loved our little tea house. Thanks for building such a special place. Other things we loved while in Kauai.... listening to the rain as we awake driving to the sun running around the roads near here the veggie restaurant in Kapa'a hot showers outside flat, dead frogs (hey, we're sick people)
