Wonderful Time in Destin

My wife, three of our teenage daughters (we have 5), and I spent a wonderful spring break week in Destin. The house layout and location was perfect for us. We were able to easily visit the beach whenever we wanted as it is just a short walk. Destin has some amazing beaches! We felt totally comfortable allowing our younger girls to walk to the beach themselves. We had fun swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. I highly recommend this rental property and hope to stay there again someday. It is very clean, nicely furnished and well kept. The owner was very nice and has a great rental property.

Enjoyable Stay

We had our son's wedding to attend in Destin and needed a place to stay. In my search for available properties I found the perfect spot for the seven members of our family. We had 3 senior citizens two twenty somethings and my wife and I both in our fifties. The house was perfect for our needs. Quiet, comfortable and the perfect size. The location was also ideal. The access to the beach is great and we were able to rent the pavillion for a small reception after the wedding. There are restaurants and shopping not too far away either. If our travels take us back to the Destin area I will check on this one again.

This house was wonderful for our stay. We stayed for 5 nights, and were always very comfortable in the house. It did not seem to take even three minutes to get to the beach, and there is a gated access point to get on the beach for Emerald Shores so you can leave things in a cubby without worrying about them being stolen. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance for when you don't feel like driving. The house is centrally located and very convenient. I would recommend renting bicycles while you are there, there is a company that will deliver them, and you can ride to shopping, restaurants and other things without dealing with traffic. The owners have really thought through what a family will need for their stay and everything we needed was provided for. I highly recommend this house and I know we will be looking to stay here again in future years.

We had the wonderful opportunity to rent this unit for our 25th anniversary - what a treasure. It is so well maintained, in a great community, so centrally located and a walk across the street to one of the amazing beaches we have ever seen (and we have seen many). All the pictures of our vacation that we put on facebook - everyone wanted more information about our amazing gem we found. The home has such a charming layout - like none we have ever rented before. The pictures of Andy and Brenda throughout the home makes you feel more like family when you stay (not so much a renter). We traveled with our grown childre that were in bed by 11 everynight because we had so much to do during the day. The nightlife we did partake in was so enchanting everything from sunset cruises to outside musicians, dueling piano bars and great food. I think we all would agree the opportunities to swim in such a clean ocean with dolphins was the highlite of our trip. To anyone reading this review - do it book it, there will be no regrets. Warm and inviting home away from home

My husband, our 3 young kids (all under age 4), and some family friends had the pleasure of staying here over a long weekend. The house was meticulously clean, and warm and inviting to all. It was so nice that they had the basics stocked - toilet paper, dishwashing soap, grilling supplies, firewood (for an awesome outdoor firepit...yum, toasted marshmellows for all!), and even a wagon to tote the kids to the pool/beach. The owners were very accomodating, quick to respond, and helpful. One thing that we really appreciated was their "heads up" on the floor plan. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are separate from the house, connected by a screened in porch. It worked for our set up because we could be out there with the kids w/out feeling like we were bothering our friends. If you have small ones, definitely bring a baby monitor, though, so you can listen in from the patio or the main house. One thing we really enjoyed was the location of the house. We loved being within walking distance of a number of great restaurants. Next time we come, we will definitely bring our bikes! There's a nice bike path that runs along the ocean front. Plus, the beach was just a very short walk, and didn't even phase our 2 y/old. The community pools were well maintained as well, and our "neighbors" were very friendly and welcoming. All in all, this was a great place for us to create lots of memories! I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful home, Great Location, Lots to Do

We had a wonderful family vacation and were not the least disappointed. Upon arrival we found a neat clean, nicely decorated home with all amenities which included:fully equipped kitchen, linens, washer/dryer, iron with ironing board, screened in porch, patio with chairs, fire pit, grill. This was a home away from home. Owners were very professional, quick to respond, helpful to give info about local restaurants and activities and thoughtful in leaving an array of games and movies. The beach is within walking distance, also community pool and tennis courts, Lots to do: fishing, boating, snorkeling, jet skiing,playing on the beach, shopping. Also great for leisure walks. My family gives this vacation a thumbs up!

We had a wonderful vacation and really loved the house! Since the master bedroom is separate from the other bedrooms, parents could get up without waking sleeping teenagers. It was so convenient and close to the beach. It was really nice having access to pools, too. And, the porches are nice when you want to escape with a good book. We were amazed by the beautiful beach and the crystal clear water. We snorkeled, jet-skied and ate at many of the fantastic restaurants. A wonderful trip!

Our family enjoyed your home in Destin so much. The layout was perfect for our daughter's family and us. With the screened in areas separating their bedrooms and bathroom, the privacy was just an added bonus. We hope to stay there again. The location was convenient for the beach and pool.
