THE SMALLER COTTAGE has two bedrooms, sleeps 6, one bath, is totally renovated. It is a warmly and attractively remodelled cottage with a large deck on Lake Michigan. Great kitchen to work and visit in while preparing meals. Open to a comfortable great room. New, high quality beds. This cottage has deeded frontage of 20 feet of shoreline.
THE LARGER COTTAGE was built in 2006. Sleeps 12. We are working with a decorator to finish the interior. Four bedrooms, three baths, large kitchen open to living area, screened-in porch, large deck, outside shower, pool table in family room on lower level. This cottage has frontage of 128 feet of shoreline.
Located in a quiet country setting - Lake Michigan to the west, and farmland to the east. Beautiful lot includes numerous wild flowers and some old-growth forest. Cross a wild ravine over a well constructed wooden foot-bridge to a breathtaking view of the Lake. The well-built stairway with 70 steps to the beach includes a large observation deck half way down with benches built in. Wonderful spot to enjoy sunsets over the lake through the trees, or curl up and read your vacation novel. Sandy beach offers relaxing sunbathing, opportunity to play in the waves, or long, peaceful shoreline walks. Stairway and 148 feet of beach frontage are shared by the cottages. Charter fishing on Lake Michigan at nearby ports. Great fruits/veggies in area farms in season. Go berry picking!

- Near the paved Hart-Montague bike trail, Noted for bike riding in the spring, summer and fall, and cross country skiing in the winter, 8 miles north of Whitehall/Montague which has a beautiful harbor, very good restaurants, small-town atmosphere, fun gift shops and a 4-screen movie theater, A park near the harbor offers a gazebo with summer concerts and farmer's market, There is a small theatre in town with performances from Blue Lake Music Camp, The Music Camp itself (16 miles away) offers regular musical concerts of high quality throughout the summer, Michigan Adventure Amusement Park, also within 16 miles offers great fun for the young (or brave and foolish!) Cottage is 15 miles south of Silver Lake Dunes which offers huge, wonderful sand dunes and dune buggy rides, Pentwater is 25 miles north, A number of great golf clubs are in the area, including Thoroughbred Championship Golf Club

Larger, Four-Bedroom Cottage .. Summer .. $3500/week.
Smaller, Two -Bedroom Cottage .. Summer .. $1300/week.
4th of July week: add $200 for larger and $100 for smaller
Available for Weekly Rentals, Saturday to Saturday during Summer.
Lower Rates and weekend rates available during Non-Summer Months.
Taxes (6% sales tax) are not included in price.
We are taking reservations for fall, winter,and summer, 2010.
