OceanSong is an upscale beach house on the south end of Plum Island. It’s just 140 steps to an uncrowded, sandy ocean beach and a five minute walk to the National Wildlife Refuge. Island restaurants are in walking distance and Newburyport’s quaint shops, restaurants and nightlife are four miles away.
The beach house has walkout sliders to decks on three sides and an outside shower. The interior is set in a white and natural oak motif with hardwood floors, tide clock, charts and recessed lighting to create an upscale, beachy feel. The main level features an open living room and dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths and a sunroom. The second level sports a loft and bedroom with skylights. The third level is a lookout.
OceanSong is designed as a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a beach vacation. It comes with everything from linens to wine glasses. It’s great for a family or couples. Come and have a great vacation!

After spending many a summer vacationing on Cape Cod, we switched things up this year to stay on Plum Island. This house was a great for the price. It is located right next to a secluded area of beach. We had days during the week where we were completely alone on the beach! The views are great. We preferred the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. It is a short drive into Newburyport, if you want to eat out - but we also had everything we needed to make some great meals at the house. So, a big thumb up for Plum Island and for Ocean Song.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Thank you for sharing Oceansong with us! We stayed Columbus Day weekend 2011. The house was just as pictures described...even better in person. Very comfortable, as if it were our own home, and very clean! And the BEAUTIFUL beach was so much closer than we thought it would be. Less than 2 min. walk! This was our 1st visit to Plum Island, so the tips about the house and the area were appreciated. We loved sunrise/sunsets in the Lookout! I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you Dick, for being so accomodating!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
