IS Retreat #33 - Ground floor with access to beach walk from balcony

While some condos boast new paint we took it one step further. We TOTALLY remodeled our condo, raised the ceilings, put in new sheetrock and 'recessed' lighting with dimmer switches and installed new ceramic tile floors throughout.

After that, we purchased all new furniture, all new appliances and installed beautiful birch and glass kitchen cabinets and updated our bathrooms with new sinks, toilets and cabinets. The beds have new mattresses, sheets, comforters and quilts and the whole condo is 'squeaky' clean!. Latest addition: 1080 pix flat screen TV with DVD player and wireless Internet.

Our condo is located in Island Retreat, Port Aransas with great restaurants and fun activities. The exact address is 700 Island Retreat Road #33 (for those of you who like to map out your trip). Island Retreat is a 'family' kind of place. Kids love it here as do their parents!

NO STEPS FOR YOUR LITTLE ONES...WE ARE LESS THAN 20 FEET AWAY FROM THE BEACH FROM OUR PATIO WITH A PRIVATE ENTRANCE. See beach pathway from map below. Check out the 2 awesome pools, tennis court.

This is a smoke-free condo.
Check-in is 4:00PM. Check-out is 12:00 PM.
Weekly rental is from Sunday to Sunday. Three nights minimum for weekend rental in Summer.
Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to arrival for refund less cancellation $100 fee.

  • Great stay. 2 Couples for three nights enjoyed the condo. Everything exactly as advertised. Owners delightful people to work with; their check-in procedure and local "tips" really helpful. Condo furnishings and provisioning very well thought out (plenty of paper towels and garbage bags, etc.) We definitely recommend this condo for your next stay in Port A.

  • Fantastic property for the five of us: me, wife, 7y/o girl, 4y/o boy and 2 y/o Rhodesian Ridgeback. Great pool just steps out the back door, and a short walk over the dunes to the beach. Perfect layout and location. We were pleasantly surprised. I booked a fishing guide out of PA, and fished redfish bay. We limited out on Reds and caught a near record flounder, then had Castaways cook our catch. Wife/kids were impressed with the dinner; best fish ever! Kids cleaned up shelling on the beach, and captured a live jellyfish and live perwinkles that we kept in a makeshift aquarium on the kitchen counter for our stay. Very cool. :) We're closing on a house on North Padre shortly, but will book this property for guests coming to visit when we overflow. Cheers.

  • This condo certainly met all our expectations and then some. It's been modernized and it offers an exceptionally clean, bright atmosphere. It's location is ideal----near the water, yet within minutes of any restaurant in town. We'll be back. As an additional plus, the owners are delightful people. We enjoyed our contacts with them while making the rental arrangements.
