We really loved this chalet! The views were fantastic! The Morels are so organized and we recieved our security deposit back within 3 days of our return home. We loved the lay out of the house and it held our family of 7 just perfectly. Our only reccomendation would be to replace the charcoal grill with a gas grill! The views are fantastic and are just as in the photos. We took my elderly parents who along with us really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great mountain view, needs or wants the plenty of room and still wants to be close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smokey Mountain Park.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at Mt. LaConte Vista in Feb/March and lucked out and had lots and lots of snow. The cabin was very well furnished and was very clean. The view was looking out over Ober Gatlinburg and was beautiful! We would definitely stay there again. Plenty of room and a very relaxing trip!Recommended for: Sightseeing.

We had a great trip and stay here. There is a nice balcony with an outstanding view onto Ober Gatlinburg. We enjoyed using the sauna and hot tub. The house accommodated all our guests well, ages 2-89, and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was a wonderful, inspiring base for skiing. Our only complaints were minor: no Wi-Fi or cable during our stay due to an outage (which they tried but couldn't get fixed). We brought baby gates, but because of design couldn't get them to fix to the stairwells. The drive would have been quite treacherous had their been snow, but it was very warm the days we were there. But the treacherous drive is the price you pay for the awesome views. It is a lovely place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Ride to and from cabin was a little nerve-wracking, although the roads were 2 lane and the were several ways in and out that we found throughout the week. Absolutely beautiful views from every room. Could hear the Christmas music from Ober Gatlinburg when the day was pretty and we had the door open. On the down side, could slightly hear the snow moving machinery as well. But the views definately made up for that. Cabin was well supplied with everything we needed. Check-in was super easy and the owners were great to communicate with.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

The view was spectacular, the hot tub and sauna were great, and there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. My only critique is that myself (who likes to sleep in) couldn't do so because my parents (who are early risers and loud talkers) woke me up each day. The floorboards seem thin, so sound travels, but otherwise this was an excellent place to relax and unwind!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Great location and great views. Owners very helpfull. Everyone had a great time with perfect weather from the second day making the views of the Smoky Mountains outstanding. Clean and a good value for a group vacation/ destination wedding. Yes I said it the pink bathrooms are outdated. Baby gates for the stairs would be helpful for families with small children.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a great time. Owners very helpful! There were a few loose tiles in the bathrooms and a cracked bowl in the kitchen but with the amount of use the house gets that's not unexpected. We loved watching the ever changing clouds and mist from the house. It is so different from where we live and we enjoyed the change! Daughters loved the hot tub!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed the mountain house and being able to have 4 bedrooms and the 2 1/2 baths. It was sooo much nicer to be together than to have to stay in hotel rooms. The was was very clean,we had all the house supplies at hand,the view from the Hot Tub was relaxing. A mother bear and her 3 cubs were within 30 feet of the house.2 houses down the hill had a bear in their garbage.The park was great. I would recommend this house and I would stay there again. Seeing the house from Ober Gaitlinburg was impressive.All of the huge windows make it a perfect place to view the Smokys.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
