  We feel so lucky to have found this jewel. Kamala feels like a world away from its frenetic neighbor, Patung, and this penthouse feels like a world away from its own quaint Thai neighborhood. You can (and should) experience the hustle & bustle of Patung and other high-energy towns, but you get to retreat to the quiet seaside village of Kamala which feels like what Patung must've been decades ago. Less than a 15 minute walk from the penthouse, watch the stunning colors of the sunset at the beach, go to dinner at the quaint cafe right outside the unit's entrance, then return at day's end to the luxury of this penthouse. There, you can choose between just lounging in the well-appointed unit, taking a dip in the common pool, heading up to the roof for a swim in your private pool or taking in the beautiful and fascinating views from the comfortable, rooftop lounging furniture. For taxis, car rentals and island excursions, the management office was extremely helpful and the prices fair. We made great use of the kitchen, as there's a very large supermarket (Big C) only a 15 minute walk from the unit. The owner, Jaap, could not have been more pleasant to work with or more helpful during our stay. I'm certain we could not have had a more luxurious, easy or pleasant stay anywhere else on Phuket.

  This was my 9th time to thailand and my first stay in an apartment and what a great experience! The apartment is located 5 minutes walk from the beach and 10-15 minutes drive from Pantong. Kamala is a quite little village with a beautiful beach and lots of places to eat. It's still up and coming but has great potential. The appartment was great, clean and had everything we needed. The pool on the roof was amazing! Myself and my best mate had a holiday of a life time and the appartment made our stay in Thailand 100% better!! Jaap was great and very helpfull, he kept In contact throughout the whole process from start to finish. Payment was easy, secure and Jaap even arrange transport from the Air Port. Just want to stay a big thank you to Jaap for everything I will be booking

  I had the pleasure of staying in the penthouse during my visit to Phuket. This is a very nice property, and is very well maintained. The rooftop swimming pool and sauna only add to it's elegance. Jaap was very helpful before and during my stay with any questions I had. Maid service was prompt and discreet. They kept the penthouse clean without me ever seeing them. I look forward to staying here anytime I am in Phuket.

  I can highly recommend this apartment, we had a most enjoyable stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable,well equipped, with the bonus of a romantic roof terrace,private pool,and gorgeous views..no jostling to find a sun bed by the main pool, we had our own on the roof terrace! Everything worked well,great aircon,wifi,lift,tv channels, gym,maid came in twice a week,even a shaded car parking space,and 24 hour security. Kamala is an established resort,with sunbeds,bars ,and restaurants for everyone.and the great bonus of this apartment is its position. Everything is within walking distance...the beach,bike hire,places to eat,the fabulous local market full of cooked and fresh food, Big C and tesco supermarkets. Plus for serious shopping Patong is only a short drive. So although I would recommend renting a bike/car to enjoy the riches of Phuket,it is certainly not essential with this apartment. The charming Dutch owner was most helpful throughout the booking process,and is only a phone call,or email away should you require information, or assistance. We had a great time,and are looking forward to returning

  This property exceeded all my expectations! In addition to a fantasy rooftop deck with stunning views of the surrounding hills and ocean, you had your own pool compete with wall fountains, jacuzzi jets and even a bathroom to change in afterwards: all on the rooftop! The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage, the kitchen was well-equipped with a extremely handy washer/dryer that allows you bring minimal clothes along since you can wash them often. Jaap was available easily via email and responded promptly (and favorably) with any concerns we brought up. The complex is quiet, well maintained and located in superb location: the beach, restaurants, and a Big C grocery store are all within a 10 minute walk. I would return to this property and Kamala beach in a heartbeat: it was a laid-back community and very family friendly; much more than its more energetic neighbor--Patong Beach. I would have no hesitations recommending this property.

  Directly when I entered the apartment I was surprised by the roomy and bright space. It is equiped and furnished very completely and modern. It was clean and the beds looked very attractive. In the apartment is plenty of bedlinen and kitchenware. There are many towels. The view to both sides is beautiful with mountains and low buildings. It is very quiet. The terrace on the roof is beautiful. To sit there in the evening to drink something and to swim a little bit is a special experience. The common swimmingpool has a lenght of 50 metres and there is enough privacy for everyone. During my stay the apartment was well cleaned regularely. The village of Kamala is a very sweet village with little shops and restaurants and is not yet spoiled by too many tourists. The beach and the sea are lovely. In summary: I can recommend the apartment to you!

  The penthouse was very nice and clean. It was very roomy. The private pool was great to have. It was equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. We had 2 teenagers and they could walk to town. And Patong beach was 10 minutes away for shopping and nightlife, very convenient. We rented a scooter 1 day for only $6. We also rented a car for $28 a day.We would definately stay here again. The owner was easy to contact and check in was easy. We live in the US and Thailand was very cool.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  The unit was fantastic. Clean and nicely located just a 5 minute walk from Kamala Beach and the main road. Easy to get taxi's and tuk-tuks from the corner of the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The private rooftop pool was beautiful as was the sundeck.

  Kamala Beach is just a short distance from Patong Beach, the hotspot of Phuket. It's quieter for those who like it that way. You may want to rent a car for convenience sake. The service staff at the apartment were friendly and it was an easy check-in. The apartment itself was spacious, neat and clean. It had good facilities such as a full-sized fridge, 3 bedrooms, a private pool, sauna, washing machine, stoves and a strong wi-fi connection. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to anyone!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.

  LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this wonderful, contemporary duplex penthouse! Seriously, it is gorgeous, so comfortable, so modern, but surrounded by ethnic local environment - it really was a wonderful home away from home. Wish we didn't live so far away (Egypt), otherwise I would rent it 2 or 3 times a year. My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here, enjoyed the private pool on the roof at night and in the day time as we gazed upon the stars above us and cooled off during the day. All the rooms, facilities, kitchen, internet, satelite tv, gym, just made it so nice to slip into as we discovered the Thai culture and the island of Phuket.
