Location: Paris Arrondissement 8, Paris, Ile-de-France (Paris Area), France, Europe (Only one minute on foot to the Champs Elysees.) View Map
Accommodations: Apartment, 1 Bedroom + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)
This spacious, air-conditioned one-bedroom apartment is on the 4th floor (with elevator) of an upscale 1930’s secure building equipped with two digicodes and located right at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe monument next to the Champs Elysées. This chic neighborhood boasts many wonderful shops and restaurants, so you'll have everything to hand.
The layout consists of an entrance that leads to the living room, the kitchen and the toilet. The living room opens onto the bedroom and bathroom.
We have just finished renovating and redecorating the apartment and are delighted with the results. It is decorated in an elegantly minimalist contemporary style, luxuriously finished in soft matching beige and gray linens, with wall-to-wall pale gray carpets.
The living room has a big wide-screen TV with DVD player (movies provided) and a high-end Hi-Fi system.
The bedroom features a beautifully welcoming queen-size bed, dressing table/desk with a leather chair and ample custom fitted closets.
The apartment faces a very quiet courtyard and is remarkably peaceful despite the lively area location.
The kitchen is fully equipped for daily use, and the bathroom features a bathtub with wall-mounted shower handle, shower curtain, and an original 1930’s washbasin.
The central location of the apartment is exceptional for its sightseeing possibilities, its grand carved stone architecture and also for the lively Ternes area. This fashionable district, with its rue Poncelet open market, enjoys a village-like ambiance.
The streets and café terraces are alive with a cosmopolitan mix of trend-setters, chic professionals and visitors from around the world.
Within a five-minute walking range, you will find many shopping opportunities as well as an exceptional choice of fine restaurants, including the world renowned Michelin-starred Restaurant Guy Savoy, the gastronomical Bistro de l'Etoile, the Coste-designed La Grande Armée, and many more that we will be sure to warmly recommend to you.
Come sundown, the area around the Champs Elysées becomes one of Paris' focal points, buzzing with bars, restaurants, cinemas and nightclubs. This area is also the epicentre of the New Year celebrations in Paris.
To venture further, the multiple-mainline metro station, Etoile, is just next to the apartment and offers direct access to Paris' other prime sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Louvre museum.

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 8
The Champs-Elysées, located in the 8th district, remains the city's - if not the world's - most famous avenue and a must to visit if you come to Paris over the Christmas season or on July 14th, the French national holiday. The avenue caters to everyone with fast-food joints and chain stores to luxury eateries like Ladurée. There are cinemas, discotheques and bars galore. At the top of the Champs-Elysées stands the imposing Arc de Triomphe, Napoléon's monument to himself. Take a deep breath and climb to the top for an incredible view of the Etoile (star) of avenues below, circling the Arc de Triomphe. At the other end of the Champs, the beautifully restored Grand Palais hosts some of the city's most splendid art exhibitions. Across the street, the permanent art collection is free at the Petit Palais. The Asian art collection at the Musée Guimet on the avenue Kléber is well worth a visit.

My husband and were in this apartment for a week in December. It is large and has everything you need including guidebooks and a useful binder put together by the owner with suggestions for restaurants and shopping. The location is great, close to Metro station and restaurants and shopping. It faces a courtyard so it is very quiet. Beautifully decorated. Lots of closet space and everything you need in the kitchen. I would recommend this to friends and would rent it again if we return to Paris.

From the moment we entered the apartment building we were completely thrilled. The pictures do not even do justice to how charming and spacious this apartment is.Clean, perfectly set up with all necessary appliances. Steps from a very centrally located Metro station and close to all the sites. Just a few short blocks from the market where the shop keepers are very eager to help you choose and pair your wine and cheese. I would not hesitate to recommend it strongly to families and friends. I can hardly wait to go back! For those who will be travelling to Paris for the first time - enjoy all the sites, and do yourself a favour and pack up a picnic to enjoy on the grass at the the base of the Eiffel Tower in the evening - very romantic - and when the sun goes down and the tower lights up you will be so glad you did.

I'm so glad that we chose this property for our Paris trip. This apartment is located in a wonderful part of town. Right by the Arc de Triomphe, a great neighborhood with shopping and restaurants close by and right next to a Metro station. The apartment had a wonderful book that pointed out restaurant recommendations, shopping recommendations, close attractions and provided general "get around" type of guidance. I would not hesitate to rent this property again upon my next trip to Paris!

The lovely apartment is located only steps away from the Arc de Triomphe. Walking distance from the Metro, restaurants, markets, shops on the Champs Élysée, and if you're adventurous and don't mind the exercise, many of the museums. We were greeted at the apartment and given a quick tour, answering any questions we had. On the table there was a bottle of wine and a fresh bowl of fruits. The beautifully decorated apartment faces a courtyard and has a bookshelf full of many guide books on Paris. One I found particularly helpful Knopf Mapguide, which we carried everywhere. Carole's friendly and courteous service, made our visit to Paris perfect and delightful. We highly recommend staying at the apartment and look forward to returning soon.

Lovely apartment, warm and cosy even in the depth of winter. Friendly and prompt service from Alex and Carole. Arranged for someone to meet us on arrival to the door. Provided with an information booklet about the local area, places to eat and shop which was very helpful. Safe and secure building and lovely neighborhood only 100m or so from the Arc de Triomphe. Poncelet Market was fantastic to see and shop at. Only small issue was the amount of rennovations across the small courtyard which made a lot of noise - so no sleep-ins for us! This is totally out of the owners control and just one of those things! All in all, a fantastic experience. Very comfortable and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment to anyone.

What a great location for our holiday in Paris! The driver we hired through the owner's booking company met us at the airport and we were greeted by the apartment manager on our arrival The apartment was the perfect size for the 4 of us and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay there! The availability of local restaurants, grocery shops, markets and transportation was a bonus! We will definitely recommend it to friends and add it to our future travel plans to Paris!
